Conduit release date is as good as gold - June 9. Excellent time.
No split screen multiplayer. No LAN multiplayer (courtesy of Nintendo). Sequel hinted at.
And of course, HV/Sega released a ton of screenies.
I'm stoked. Thoughts on release date and Nintendo being ninnyes?
Nintendo are always ninnyes becaues they don't want anyone besides them making good games for their systems.
June 9th is perfect. I'm at home and my Wii will actually have internet!
I'm disappointed that there's no split-screen; as for LAN, I've never used it, nor do I know anyone who has used it.
LAN, this would be wireless, yes? Nintendo doesn't want the kiddies hooking up with the pedophiles. I dislike split-screen multiplayer, I accidentally screen hop, or the temptation is too great to pass it up.

Release date is 4 months away =( =(
I'm stoked for The Conduit.
Friend Codes :'( But, Wii Speak with friends makes up for it.
so... there's no multiplayer?
way to waste another good game, intercourse tards.

Blame Nintendo..."they" didn't want it (even though they have zero right to tell SEGA and High Voltage what to do).
I'll take it for actually having a competant online mode FOR ONCE (despite the friend codes. Seriously, WHEN is Nintendo going to learn that FC's are pointless, unintuitive, and frustrate everyone who uses them!?)
well, what developer in their right mind makes a FPS with no multiplayer in this day and age?

Nintendo apparently. But again, they have zero right to tell Sega/High Voltage what they can and can't do. HV should grow some balls and include both just to piss Nintendo off. I would.

They still believe they can control 3rd parties like they did in the 80's.
You know where that led them? A HUGE anti-trust lawsuit.

And eventually losing to the Playstation in the 90's because Sony let developers do whatever they wanted

You have a good point.
But, high voltage and sega have really done well in making this game look awesome, and be awesome (from what I know).
Uh, there is multiplayer....it's just a matter of what kind. It's how you make it fun.
And Nintendo is not to blame for the split screen thing, that is HV entirely.
LAN, I think that's what Mario Kart: Double Dash. It makes it you're friend can come over and you can each play on different TVs. Kirby's Air Ride has that, too.
So, I think there's still online multiplayer. If there isn't, I won't get it.
But I don't see why Nintendo should care that much about what they're doing.

1. FFFFFFFFFFFF LAN
SUCKS2. Nintendo, please listen to the fans about what they want in games and what you currently won't allow
...........
O WAIT.
How LAN sucks is beyond me.
I've never used it before. It seems cool. I would just need an insanely long ethernet cable.
Splitscreen campaign and multiplayer with 4 people is just understood for a game, especially fps'. I do like the voice chat with wii speak, even though i'd prefer a headset, but i'll take what i can get.

Also, waterproof cord.
Cool.
My wii doesn't have online, so the online stuff doesn't bother me.
But still, great release date though.
I'll play this alot over the summer.

For once the online is the main reason to actually get the game X_X;;
Bad part is that I'll have to pony up and get the WiiSpeak instead of using a headset that should work on EVERYTHING (*mini-rant taken out*)
