Ah, thanks I guess...
I'll try it out once the torrents finish. Although since I'm getting OSX later this week (hooray no s***ty ass slow computer), I'll have to download it again but I"ll test if this one works.

bah, it's not downloading terribly well. I'll just wait til the weekend and download the OSX version...

I personally downloaded the CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) for Windows Media Player.  I then got another "your video card isn't good enough to play this video".  Same with some other (non-.mkv) video.  I hate my Laptop >:(

Well, download the .mkv's for the series and see if they work/can get them to work on my new Mac over the weekend. I found avi's and MPG4's for all but THREE of the episdoes (the last three...argh!), so I wonder if I can find them for Ga Rei Zero...

Graphics card can't be an issue for my mac...it's brand spankin new...

Playing MKV's on Windows is a crapload easier than it is on Mac for an obvious reason.

Lack of programs.

Windows lets you use CCCP which comes with 2 players (I don't like either or) for them, though installing that pack will let you play just about anything you come across in Windows Media Player; use CoreAVC if your computer sucks for HD MKV's.

Don't ask me about Mac, I've only lightly looked and there's some plugins for Quicktime; or you can just use VLC for it.

thanks for the tips guys.

I managed to find MPG4's and avi's for the series, although I did manage to get a couple of the MKV's to work. (by using the CCCP)
I know MPG's and avi's should transfer over to Macs, so it's all about the codec I believe.

Thanks for the help. I'm sure I'll need more come this weekend when I actually start using it.
