Title: Spiderman as a game franchise.

So, Spiderman has had quite a long history in games, and unlike other superheroes besides Batman, he's actually gotten quite a few good games, most recently Web of Shadows. Of course, who could forget the awesomeness of Spiderman 2? I still think web slinging should be a bigger part of the games than fighting, mainly because it is pretty monotonous.

Activision is currently handling the franchise, but they haven't announced future plans for it. What is your favorite Spiderman game?

Spiderman (PS1)
Spiderman 2

Pretty much the only ones that I've played. I enjoyed them both a lot though.

Spiderman on the GBA was horrible...

2 was pretty good.

Spiderman 2 only because of the web swinging. The missions and graphics were attrocious, but the free roam was fun. (I love carrying a crook up to the top of the Empire State Building, jumping off the top while still holding them and doing a spinning piledriver all those hundreds of feet, killing him in one hit and walking off without a scratch.)
