If your a Wii owner and your missing out on the RE5 fun fest, you'll have another RE game that might fill that gap (or at least a portion of it). The trailer of the new game Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles was shown at the Resident Evil 5 launch event and can now be seen for your enjoyment.

This rail shooter seems to follow the events of only RE2 instead of the other RE games like in Umbrella Chronicles. Resident Evil 2 is one of my favorites so I can't wait for this to come out.
Any thoughts?
I dunno, from the trailer I saw I am not sure if I will enjoy it. The game appears to be 3rd person rail shooter. I am not sure how enjoyable that will be. Also RE 2 isn't that long of a game, Umbrella Chronicles had Zero, 1, 3, and a bonus chapter. So I am not sure how long this game is going to be, and how much extra stuff will be put in it. Looks quite interesting however, I will most likely pick it up.
I don't imagine I'll be buying it. UC was enjoyable, yes, but I'm not sure a Wii Exclusive sequel is exactly what the masses want. By purchasing it, in my eyes, I'm voting with my dollars for yet another. So, at most I'll rent it.
I'll buy it =P . I actually love Resident Evil games and a better graphic'd RE2 sounds like a nice win for me. I know it's not the same thing(or is it?) but I still can't wait.
Also RE:RemakeWii needs to happen :|. I'm serious
