Title: Free Points Confirmed
Post by: Macawmoses on March 21, 2009, 11:58:17 AM
Yes, we do get 1000 Free Points as part of a limited promotion.

Target: Upon initial access to Nintendo DSi Shop, 1,000 Nintendo DSi Points will be credited to your account, which you can then use to download your free Nintendo DSi-exclusive games and applications. Wireless broadband connection and acceptance of user agreement required. Nintendo DSi Shop must be accessed to receive free points. Limited time offer. For full details, please visit DsiOffer.Nintendo.com.

For those getting the DSi, what do you plan on spending these on?

Also, I'm glad we're finally getting some equal treatment.

Should I get the DSi, I'll likely use the points on the Art Style or Brain Ages. Those look promising. I really hope we get Airplane, though.

Could you give me the list of apps available for purchase upon the release of the DSi? I think I will buy it, but isnt it like 150$? I cant remember, I havent looked it up in quite awhile.

We aren't aware of what will be available for us as of launch. It's looking like Internet, Moving Notepad, Paper Airplane, and a few others are likely candidates, though.

I'll have to see what they have.

So, you have to buy it like the Wii's Internet Channel?
If so, that's one of the things I'll be spending the points on.

YAY! Well I'm saving 500 points for the Wario ware game (I really hope we get in on launch day). And I'll save the rest in hope that we'll get a non-puzzle DSi game...If not, brain age.

No its free. Well it was in japan anyways... But I think after 6 months you'll have to buy it, like how it was for the wii's browser. If you do need to pay for it I wouldn't buy it though.

As of now the Internet channel is free.
