Odd how I didn't see something like this already here... anyway, what's your all-time favorite Mario game?
Mine is Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. The Paper Mario series is my favorite Mario series, and I feel the second game in the series was the best. It has the most in-depth characters and story out of all of Mario, it has totally unique characters and locations while still feeling like it belongs in the Mario universe, and it's hilarious.
Super Mario Bros. 3. The levels, the power-ups, the secrets...freaking awesome. But the controls of Super Mario World are-well, better than 3.
So 3 is my personal favorite.
(Super Mario Sunshine sucks)
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
It kicked so much ass. The characters were cool, the storyline was better than the other 2 Paper Marios, you get a cool baby Yoshi that you can name, and has a somewhat random color, there were side missions, there was the Pit of 100 trials, you could choose weird things to say.
Puni: Are you a bully?
Choices of how to respond:
Of course not.
Guess again Nerd. <---
And wow, I can think of so many other reasons too. I've played it many times, it was easier every time, but it was still fun, and I finally beat TPoHT last time, I even tattled EVERY enemy, and I did every Trouble, but I did that on almost every file. On one of my files I got all the recipes. IDK, I'm just blathering on now.
Probably either lost Levels or World, just because they're the hardest IMO. I like a good challenge.
Super Mario World OR the first Paper Mario.
I can never explain why I like those games I just do
Super Mario All-Stars. I'm counting it as a choice. >:(
It's got Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, The Lost Levels, and Super Mario World(if you have the version with World). So many good games jam packed together. :)

I have All-Stars + World.
So I guess I change mine to that then.

...what? Super Mario World isn't hard.
The only hard parts are the 8th castle, the second special stage, and the Fortress next to Bowser's Castle.

It's harder than American 2 and 3 that's all I can say X_X;;
I might put 64 in that group, but I know that game so well I rarely ever count it
Paper Mario 1.
Mario Teaches Typing.

um the hidden ones wern't? like tubular!!
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It had so much to offer that the first one didn't. It had a great combination of humor, plot, graphics, and gameplay. I could go on forever about how much I love that game.
Another great game was Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. The whole Bros. Moves idea was brilliant, it had a unique plot and plenty of humor, and the graphics are still widely used to this day by fans. (comics, flash, etc.)
I forgot about Superstar Saga, that game was fantastic.

I did too, but it's pretty far away from PM:TTYD, but overall, my second favorite Mario game.
Paper Mario. Then The Thousand Year Door, then Superstar Saga.
Oh, and Mario Sets The VCR.
