Okay, rumors of a new EarthBound/MOTHER game are going around.

That's all I'm going to do other than say it's rumored to be made by the people who made Professor Layton and that the sprites look  pretty much exactly like the ones in EarthBound. *Warning, huge pic*

Looks pretty similar to Earthbound.
Either it's another Earthbound or it's a different game that has SOMETHING to do with Earthbound.
But I still need to play Earthbound. :P

Yeah, this was shown when Factor 5 announced their new online interface for programmers called Roid.

That picture looks a little too similar to the Earthbound pic. Maybe it takes place after Earthbound? If it's real that is.

It's definitely real, but it might just be a Factor 5 game called Another World.

I have a feeling that this was more than just a homage, some of the sprites are EXACTLY the same. Who knows, I could be wrong.
