Just a reminder that Earth Hour is today from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The deal is to turn off all unnecessary lights/electronics to support anti-global warming efforts.
Will you be participating? I'm not sure if my family is going to... or if they even know it's today...
I'll be participating, why not? it's only an hour
Light might turn off all the lights. :-X
I'll participate. I like it dark anyway. Makes games look better.
Oh, and I lol'd at this:

I remember someone posting a thread last night, using as much electricity as possible "electric razor until all the stubble is gone".
Whoops. Guess I missed it.

It's called
NIGHT everybody! :robotangry: :robotangry: :robotangry:
i was in the middle of some tf2 scrims at the time so no
Actually, I participated.
My brother's Girlfriend, my 2 brothers and I lit candles, turned everything off, and just talked for an hour. Ironically, my parents didn't. =|
My family and I ended up participating. We ate dinner out, so we didn't get home until thirty minutes through Earth Hour. We then lit some candles and spent the remaining half hour playing Boggle. It was pretty fun. We hardly spend any time playing games any more.
We ended up watching a movie...but we turned all the lights off. D=

...Screw that, gamers were made to be on your planets consuming your energies...
...On a side note, I never heard of this until now, so I obviously did not 'participate'...
...And if I did know, I probably would not have 'participated' out of spite...and my lack of belief in people...:>...

That's actually almost exactly what we did, except take out the part about boggle and put in cards.
I think I was playing TF2 during that time.
