1) Length. It wouldn't need to be obscenely long to work, but a good 20-hours is the standard. I want Mario to last, dang it.
2) Difficulty. Not the kind of unbalanced difficulty with obscene jumps and overwhelming action, but hard enough so that it at least takes a few tries to get a star.
3) Content. I've looked at several beta version videos, and they all show lots of secret pipes, nooks and crannies full of goodies, and all that good stuff. Mainly, I want things that you wouldn't find until the second or third playthrough, so the game stays fresh for a while.
4) Variety. SM64 and Super Mario Sunshine ran out of new enemies pretty quickly. So far, we've all seen a massive variety of environments and enemies. Looking good.
So far, I've seen all of these in the beta version videos. The game's looking good. What do YOU want to see in Super Mario Galaxy?
i want blue coins from sm 64 back, in all videos, i havent seen one
also i want petey pirhana and gooper blooper for sm sunshine back, those were my favorite bosses lol
also i DONT want the stupid crap about collecting 8 red coins, it gets annoying and frustated sometimes
not only for galaxy but also for any other mario adventure game, i want daisy to have a role in the story somehow! maybe she can get her own game.? yea im somewhat of a fanboy :robotveryhappy:
hehe, i already have the game ;D and so far it fits all of those. i have a freind who works at my local game store, he secretly sold it to me early, but i just got it today, and im not tht far...
