Title: Some boasting from Sony
Post by: Macawmoses on April 07, 2009, 03:31:30 PM
"Our development studios - the Worldwide Studios team - is as large as Microsoft and Nintendo's combined." - SCEA hardware marketing head John Koller

I kind of chuckled. I mean...if they have this huge team, where are the quality titles? We're seeing titles like Brawl, Halo, etc. But what does Sony have to show for it? A dead Sly Cooper series and disheartening sales.

But this can't be all bashing - with this huge team, what do you think we'll see as a result? Will new IP's be claimed? Will others (Sly) be revived?

God of War 3... a.k.a. the EPIC game.

Other than that though a new Uncharted (which was a total pile of "meh"), and eventual Resistance 3 and the PSP game, but that's all I know.

Well, Ratchet and Clank is still awesome.

And twisted Metal is still ok...

But yeah, Sony needs more awesomeness.

They really have no excuse for a lack of series with a dev team that large, though. Or a lack of constant flow.

Sly Cooper was so amazing.
