yes, le olde news (yesterday, i guess now)
oh yeah, House Spoilers. Kutner died this week. Sowwy.
Kal Penn has NOTHING except a Sociology degree from an ACTING school :|
is Obama TRYING to look bad?
Technically, he doesn't need that much qualification.
He's more like a hostess at a party or restaurant... just their to distract people and make them feel welcome.
It says he probably won't make more than 90 K a year... I would of thought he would make more on House.
I saw him speak for Obama on T.V. once. He appeared very intelligent and smart, not like Kumar from his movies.

The fact remains that he has as much formal training as your average joe.

Okay.
This would be something though if the people who did select him didn't have training.
Have you seen the movie "Invincible"?

Didn't he go on to win a Super Bowl?
Kutner is going to be a champion.

Americans don't care about qualifications, they care about pretty faces.

He made it there but didn't win it. Eagles have yet to win one. :O

I know. and that adds to my pile of evidence showing that americans are idiots.
We're not over grilling him yet? It's been months already.
This is really off topic, but Kal Penn sounds like the name of a college.
Why didn't he pick the VT guy? He's pretty famous.

It's not just Americans. It's people in general.
What qualifications are required to be a liaison other than looking nice? You don't actually do anything of any importance.
He should have stayed on House..... I liked Kutner.
...he committed suicide on House?
I liked him. :(

they had to write him out, because Penn was so eager to ditch the show. They even used a body double for him, because Penn obviously had better things to do. Goes to show that Penn didn't even like or care about the show at all.
To be fair...he was a key player in the Obama campaign itself. It only makes sense that someone within the campaign would get the role. His qualification comes from his dedication and the work he has done already.

was he? then it's my bad. I knew that Penn was an endorser, but didn't think that he was any more than that.

He worked very heavily from what I hear.
Doesn't it make sense that Obama would hire someone who he had worked with before?
Christ, no need to be so harsh.
But Metal, being harsh makes us feel better about our tiny dicks.

it makes logical sense that the president would hire someone who he likes, but the choices that Obama has made haven't been particularly logical thus far.

I suppose some have been questionable, like hiring Hilary as secretary as state, but the guy has a huge mess on his hands.
I guess we'll see how the choices play out...

Yeah, we'll see how they play out. I'm just not certain that he's made the right choices.
