Title: Wow, they really went into detail with City Folk.
Post by: Tupin on April 13, 2009, 03:55:17 PM
Okay, so a few days ago I turned on my game for the first time in almost a month, and my character had bedhead, which I guess is supposed to be a consequence, only fixed with a haircut, but I covered it up with a Pikmin hat until I realized I actually like how it looks.  :D

I also noticed some of the heavy traffic areas of my town had the grass stamped down to just dirt, like the area around my house, Tom Nook's store, and the cliff areas. Apparently, there's somewhat realistic weathering in the game, but unlike in real life, there's no grass seed, it can only be fixed by waiting, or planting a ton of trees. Even then, it can take upwards of six months.

Anyone else encounter these things in CF?

I had bedhead, too. :D
I noticed there was less grass in some areas, too. So I try not to run on those areas.

That's interesting. I guess if you're going to make a Sim, you better do it right :P
