Out of all Pokemon, we all know some are more popular than others.
Be it through competitive play, the anime, or just because you like them; we all have our favorites.
Personally, I love the Poke's that get no attention.
Kingler, Magneton, Honchkrow, and Crobat.
So, what is your favorite outcast Pokemon?
Isn't Magneton (and it's evolution) pretty good in competitive battling?
I'd have to say my favorite outcast pokemon is are the Hitmon's (Hitmonlee, etc.). Sure they're not terribly good fighting types, but I like their designs.
I've always liked Kingler and Crobat. Same for Hitmontop, and Houndoom.
Blaziken.
Hm...I guess Blaze would be Underrated. For me: Zigzagoon and Ludicolo.
I find that no one really cares about or likes Zangoose.

At least two of the above are overly popular in competitive.
I like Stantler and Ledian. They're neat Pokemon that no one seems to remember most times.
Ninetales and Hitmonlee, very few that I have seen use these Pokemon in competitive batles, and overall are pretty cool Pokmeon.
Tangela or Muk.
Also, Ledian.
Shiftry, Muk, Beedrill, Hitmonchan, and all poliwag evolutions. They look cool. :(
Pikachu, Lucario, Blaziken, Tyrannitar... JK.
Sandslash, Ninetales, Butterfree, Beedrill, Hitmonchan, and Amphros (if he's unpopular... i don't know if he is).
Ninetales and Linoon.

Kingler then. :)
Mawile definitely.
Not sure if Scizor is "less popular" or not, but him too.
Haunter is kickass as well.
Dunsparce seems to get no love either, I like him kinda.
The Hitmons too, they've always been some of my favorites.
Also, just because they aren't in many people teams, doesn't mean that they are "less popular", it just means that they might not be good to use in battle, so they don't.

They could be used in the show, or people just think they're cool though. So simply saying they aren't used in battle doesn't instantly mean they're unpopular, which is the point he's trying to make here. You pointed to the anime and personal prefernce in the first post, and now you're throwing them out the window.

But then I realised he kinda sucks... :(

Pikachu is popular in anime, so the not used in battle doesn't have to apply.
Whole post is an opinion anyway, not sure when Pokemon turned into serious business.
