Okay, just recently, there's a friend of ours who turns out to also be a police officer.
Well, he was at a school. He was talking with a teacher when he had this feeling of faintness. He tells the teacher "I shouldn't be here". Well, the teacher thought he was joking, until he said "I really shouldn't intercourse ing be here". Then the teacher notices he doesn't look the best then. So she calls 911. Well, when they got there, they figured out it was stroke of the worst type: one on one of the major arteries in your neck. He's fully aware of what's going on around him, but he can't talk, or move. But, before they can administer the TPA (the anti-clotting drug that they HAVE to get in within 3 hours of the stoke to maximize recovery), they need to put him in an MRI. He's claustrohpobic, and can't tell them he's fully aware. After that, they administer the anti-clotting drug, via this special tube. When they're doing that, he had a second stroke on a major VEIN in his neck. Now, if you don't understand the scope of this, ONLY 1% OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS HAPPEN TO THEM SURVIVE. MAJORITY OF THEM WHO SURVIVE END UP BEING BRAIN DEAD. So, they call in a priest to give him his last rights.
Okay, so I don't bore those who have short paitence, I'll end it now. He survived with little complications, which is a darn miracle. A nurse once came in and told him "you shouldn't be alive" because of the odds that he overcame. Also, he's in good shape, so the cause of the strokes is unknown...
The scary part was the stroke. The wierd part was he got the strokes so young and in shape. The awesome part is that he overcame such odds.
That is strange......
Cool...

Cool...
Yeah, cool that he survived w/o having major complications.
Wow, that would be terrifying. Glad he's alright, though.
Wow, that's lucky. Looks like he's part of that 1%.

That survived. There's very few of that one percent that actually come out of it not being brain dead, or as we like to call it, a "veggie".
Cool story, bro.
...woah...
I've had something like that happen to me, but nowhere near as serious (sort of).
I got a blood blister on my pinky at work (dunno how), and about a minute later I said I didn't feel good, and needed to sit down. I go into the back, but the next thing I remember is being helped up off the ground by the kitchen staff with my two front teeth missing...mostly. It was really scary to know something happened for about 30 seconds I was completely unaware of.
The part that surprised me was that he is a Police Officer.
You got a Naoto Shirogane in there then!
Glad he survived through that nightmare.

Holy poop. I think I've heard about something like that happening before.
What about the one dude whose cell phone stopped a bullet? Crazy.
This is like one of those miracle stories that you see on TLC. :O I'm glad he's alright.
He is the new jesus but he dosnt know yet. Soon when he walks on water without drowning he will find out.
Wow, interesting, I smell an autobiography.....
