I can't believe I almost forgot. Good thing I got an Editor's Reminder about this one!
The Game Boy was released 20 years ago today (MTN time :P )....in NA. That's quite impressive, being that the game boy brand lasted quite long.
I also think the Game Boy era saw some great titles and ideas. Pokemon being notable, Golden Sun, Tetris, etc. We also saw neat things like the Printer get released - and cheating became even better than ever with the Gameshark working wonders on the line.
So, care to toast the Gameboy?

To that big gray brick that only had shades instead of colors. How on earth did we play games by having to change contrast? The days of IMAGINATION in lack of effects will sorely be missed. Not to mention Missingno X_X:;
Well, here's to the Game Boy. It shall never be forgotten, just like the Virtual Boy.

To twenty more years of handheld gaming.
So many memories on those Game Boys. :(
M&L:SS was one of my favorites.
The DSi needs Game Boy games on the DSi Shop.

Aye. I recall playing Donkey Kong for the first time - it wasn't an arcade version, but the gameboy one.

That's easily the best version of Donkey Kong.
