Title: Sequel for Final Fantasy IV planned as a WiiWare title

Yes, it says so in the Nintendo Channel and many other sources.

Basically, it's the sequel after the events of Final Fantasy IV, where you use Cecil's son after some years passed, with all the original cast at some points (I think).

The game will look like it came directly from the Super Nintendo. Are they pulling a Megaman 9 with Final Fantasy?

So, are you a fan of the series? Are you going to download it?

It's been out in Japan. For a while. For Mobile Phones. =|

Since IV is my third favorite game in the series, I'm stoked for this one. And it only took them over 10 years to make a sequel to it. ^_^

Wow this looks pretty cool, I will probably get it. Any word on a release date? or is this still a rumor?

I just checked Nintendo Channel and it said you take the control of Ceodore, Cecil and Rosa's son. The game takes place 18 years after the events of the original game.

It's set for a release in this year over all the world after it was a success on mobile phones.

Wow, really?
FFIV is my favorite of the series, so I'll definitely get this if my brother gets our Wii back, but it sucks that they don't release this for GBA or DS.

This game is going to come out the next Monday! :D

Oh, and it's also going to be released through chapters (much like Strong Bad) so you can have different perspectives of the characters.

...wait...it's been officially confirmed to come out this Monday?

OH MY GOD, IT'S TRUE!

The game is available for WiiWare for 800 Points from now on! :) ;) :D

(Weird thing is that the Nintendo Channel wasn't updated).
