Wow! A remake of Gold and Silver?! No one ever expected this! Honestly!
All sarcasm aside, I am still very excited that they are remaking my favorite generation of the series. This should definitely regain my interest in the Pokemon franchise.

Not like I could seeing nothing else has be revealed yet. Anyways, I am glad that they finally got around to making a remake of Gold and Silver.
I still like Glittering Gold, Sparkling Silver, and Captivating Crystal.

Glittering and Sparkling? Those are synonyms. I think they care for some variety between different version titles.
It's not like they will release Pokemon Rock & Stone, Pokemon Ghost & Ghoul, Pokemon Solar & Sun, Pokemon Fire & Flame etc. It's to a lesser extent because it's a compound title, but still the same idea.
I think they're playing on the "heart of gold" idea or something...
Either way it's not a horrible name, it could be worse. I can only imagine how bad the remake names of Ruby and Sapphire are going to be. (I still demand my re-release of Yellow version)

Yeah, I really don't see the need for that either. And why would you want a re-release of Yellow? You have FireRed and LeafGreen. Catch a Pikachu in Viridian Forest and pretend it's walking behind you, same thing.

actually catch all 3 starters, the surfing pikachu minigame, and I just think Yellow had a different feel to it.

Yellow is different cause it's based on the anime. Start with Pikachu who follows you around, find all 3 starters, fight Jessie and James, Lt. Surge just has a Raichu, etc.
