What the hell is wrong with Activision? Van Halen is fine (awesome actually) but DJ Hero? Band Hero? Seriously?
Anyway, thanks for the news.

I agree. GH:VH looks to be intercourse ing amazing but the others will probably suck.
Also, I will probably also get RB:Beatles because it's gonna be awesome.
K new info added, yay.

Band Hero needs a name change, but DJ Hero, Band Hero, and Lego Rock Band don't quite move towards our audience (Like more like the kid/dj audience?) but I agree, all this at once is a bit overwhelming.
I'm not getting any of these spin-offs this year, maybe GH:VH Once It get's cheap, as the guest acts look pretty good.
But I'm def getting the newly announced Pearl Jam live Track Pack...In like a year. I'll probably not be hyped until It's close to release in it again.
DJ Hero is a sad excuse for a ripoff of Beatmania.
Konami needs to get moving here.
I'll definitely be getting The Beatles: Rock Band.
What's not to like about a rhythm game centered around your favorite band?
If you'd like to add the songs confirmed for The Beatles:RB, here they are:
* I Saw Her Standing There
* I Want to Hold Your Hand
* I Feel Fine
* Day Tripper
* Taxman
* I Am The Walrus
* Back In The U.S.S.R.
* Octopus's Garden
* Here Comes The Sun
* Get Back

NOOO. NOOO. THEY ARE KILLING MY LIVELIHOOD.
Why are they doing this? All of this kid-friendly [expletive] is a total sell-out. They had better keeping backing up their hardcore games (i.e. the ones that are rated at least "T" and/or difficult). Why they come up with good ideas like:
- Guitar Hero/Rock Band: UNCENSORED "All your favorite hard-hitting songs without the censorship! No mutes, covers, bleeps, or anything else that'll keep you from hearing your favorite singers from dropping that 'f-bomb' 17 times ['Killing in the Name' by RATM lol]!" It'd be rated "M" for strong language, strong lyrics, suggestive themes, etc. ;-)
- Guitar Hero/Rock Band: EXTREME "All your favorite songs with ripping, shredding, and totally extreme soloing! Nothing is easy (or medium or hard for that matter)! You won't be bored at all with this one! NOTE: This game is intended only for those Guitar Heroes who have beaten all other Guitar Hero games on the Expert difficulty. This game contains only the Expert difficulty. :robotveryhappy:
Oh well. At least Van Halen, The Beatles, and Pearl Jam are good. So is the Modern Hits one actually. I can't get Unplugged but my friend seems to like it and it looks okay. I really wanted Lego: Rock Band to work for me, but this kid stuff is ridiculous.
Honestly, I would like to see an uncensored version for things like Tenacious D, but it won't happen because the whole business is based on cash-money. If they can keep a game from flopping, they'll keep it from flopping. So no M for Mature RB or GH games in our future.

Yup, yup. Agreed, I basically replied to this as well in another post in the "Green Day" thread.
The Beatles Rock Band is going to have 45 songs and Downloadable albums. Of the 45 songs only 10 have been revealed.
* I Saw Her Standing There
* I Want to Hold Your Hand
* I Feel Fine
* Day Tripper
* Taxman
* I Am The Walrus
* Back In The U.S.S.R.

In the opening movie, parts of Paperback Writer, A Hard Day's Night, and Twist and Shout are played so they might be in there as well.
