What do you think you'll be taking next year in school.
I'm still in high school, which means I'll be required to take a history, science, and english,and I'll be taking a math, because it's my expected major. So, I plan to take AP English, Biology, and Calculus, an undecided history class, band (with takes up two class slots), and Spanish 2 (so I can qualify for scholarships.) My free spot was going to be health, but I'm taking it in summer school (which I was supposed to do last year.) That leaves me with a choice to take whatever I want, but I probably take either physics or AP Statistics.
Let's see I have AP US History, AP Lit, AP Spanish, Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra 2, and for electives Acting for Theater and Personal Financial Management. All in all it will be a fun year.
I have no idea, since i'm going to college; If I even am >_>
I want a job more than college though.
I'll be taking honors chemistry, honors pre-calc, spanish 4, us history+american lit., gym/health, and orchestra.
sounds like fun eh?
Chem, Bio, and Physics 30. So my grade 12 sciences.
I also need my Social and English 30, but I can technically not do the Social.
French 30 is on the line based on instructors being around.
That's between two semesters, meaning I'll have spares.
English 10H
Integrated Geometry 10R1
AP Global Studies
Earth Science 10R1
Spanish II (because I didn't take it this year)
Tech Draw
Programming(C-tech)
Gym(Obviously)
Some sort of math, Algebra 2 or something like that
I think Chemistry
English(4 gosh darn years of it)
And I think American History
Not too sure about most of those =/ all I know is...
Programming(In C-tech)
Gym
Math
Science
English(Kill me now)
History
I know I'm taking Algebra II. Though I might take the next math, Algebra II/Pre-Calc.
Then I have to have Civics and Economics.
I'll be taking ELA Grade 10. AP Lit would be so boring, I can't stand ELA as is. :\
I think the next Science class is Chemistry.
And right now I'm set to take Baseball Theory. But I have to change that, you go to the weight room 2-3 times a week, so...
Let's see...
AP US History
English 3H
Honors Pre-calc
Physics (I hate there being no honors class for this.)
Spanish 5

My classes next year...

Geometry (If I would have taken it this year, I would have Algebra II instead of math models ;-;)
Intergrated Physics and Chemistry (I honestly wanted regular chemistry, but my counselor wouldn't let me.:| )
Spanish I (NEW SLEEPING CLASS GET)
If I did take geometry this year, I would have two english classes next year like I did this year. I wish I had taken geometry this year. :(
Basic Design I

You just killed your fun right there. AP US History = Mind rape.
I'm taking it easy next year with five classes 2nd semester, and two free periods. This year was hell, and I don't wanna go through that again. To those who are taking AP US History, good luck with that poop, and hope that you get a
good teacher.
AP English 12
Honors Economy (1 Semester)
Culinary Arts II
Spanish I
Adventure Education (2 Periods, 1 Semester)
Drawing II (1 Semester)
TV Basics (1 Semester)

It shouldn't be too hard. =\
I've heard the opposite actually. Plus, me loving history should make it a lot easier.
That's exactly what I had thought too, but when I got there... Ugh.

Same here I didn't see a huge problem in choosing it. Honors World History is taught AP here so I'm used to the different thinking styles. Less memorization of dates and more discussion and all that.

You mean AP History actually has more discussion? Holy poop. Fuck yeah.
I don't care if I have a good grade in that class (I do). It's still mind rape.

Any AP history has a lot more emphasis on discussion, just like it is in upper-div college sections. If it's taught correctly, your teacher should be having you write a lot, too. A typical history course here usually has 1 5 or 6-pager or 2 3-pagers for a 100-level, 2 5-pagers or a 10-pager for a 200-level, and a 20-pager for a 300.
Might be a bit less at state schools, being that it'd be impractical for one professor and 2-3 TAs to read 70 essays for a 300 and 200 essays for a 100.
Um, it'll be junior year in high school for me:
* Analysis of Functions (Pre-calculus)
* AP Chemistry
* Physics Honors
* AP Computer Science
* Spanish 1 (I hate Spanish ;-;)
* English 3 (Although I don't think my district's English classes even deserve the name "English")
* US History Honors
Everything I'm taking is considered a core class, so I don't get any electives (APCS is categorized as mathematics) =/
Pre-Calculus
Chemistry
Web Design 2
Web Design 3
Spanish I
And other classes I dunno/don't remember
