Title: High Voltage E3 Presentation
Post by: Macawmoses on May 29, 2009, 05:15:35 PM
As you all better know, HVS announced two new titles for Wii - both being violent.

Along with this, The Conduit is only a few weeks away. Which brings up the question...what do you think the independent company has in store for E3?

I'm really hoping for a Conduit section so we can here some more impressions. That's my big thing. Honestly, I can't imagine a ton of info being revealed about the two new titles...

the horror one is a LONG way away, so I doubt they'd reveal much about that. Although I'm sure the 300 game will get some screen time, mostly because it's awesome (and as a desperate attempt to take some attention away from God of War 3)

We'll probably see more info about The Conduit than the other two.
The Grinder and Gladiator A.D won't be here for a long time.

Oh?

Why is it we have trailers and boxart so soon then?

boxart changes constantly. Remember, Galaxy's boxart changed a month before release.

Trailers also mean nothing about release. *looks at Duke Nukem Forever*

I'm aware on both accounts, but I am still forseeing at least one of them in the next year (til March). HVS needs to keep its name recognized with a steady flow of titles, or it'll fall back to the poop it used to make.

I expect the 300 game (that's what I'm calling it, I can never remember it's name) to be early next year like you think. Horror game holiday next season.

Gladiator A.D. :P

Yeah, I just can't see them not capitalizing on this fiscal year. It's strategy to string together a series of releases when you're not an absolute powerhouse like Activision/Blizzard or EA. Recognition will be key to helping HVS develop.

and the fact really, no one else is even trying on the system anymore besides a few select games.
