Title: Nintendo's Revivals and IPs
Post by: Macawmoses on June 02, 2009, 05:25:32 PM
In terms of the Nintendo events, it seems you guys have missed out on impressions on a revival and some brand new IPs.

This looks to be my favorite, Span Smasher. You get to control a fruit on a tennis/pinball hybrid game. IGN said it seems odd, but is highly addictive. I say it looks like an IP that shouldn't be overlooked.

Famicon revival. Glory of Heracles. Looks badass, and I'm glad it's back.

Another one IGN speaks highly of. Fully fleshed out RPG from Nintendo for Wii...and it looks promising. Anyone heard anything more on it? Monado: Beginning of the World.

Style Savvy...

I have no idea as to what Line Attack Heroes is...but I think it is a fighting game of some sort. It also seems badass. But then again...I'm ignorant.

Hmm. Fossil Fighters seems to be a bit of Spectrobes and a bit Pokémon. But it seems to add in other elements. It seems rather outlandish, especially for Nintendo. Thoughts?

In fact, comment on any of these revivals or NEW IPs. Also Starfy.

Style Savvy, because we ALL know everyone wants a pointless fashion game with about as much depth as a flash minigame X_X:;

I'd appreciate it if you responded to all of it rather than, once again, going on the attack.

Span Smasher: What system is it for? Looks awesome, sounds like an interesting premise.

Glory of Heracles: Not a fan of most turn based RPGs, but looks okay.

Monado: Beginning of the World: I'll have to see more before I decide on it.

Style Savvy: i lol'd

Line Attack Heroes: Can't really judge a fighter on still pictures, but I like the style.

Fossil Fighters: Not much to say about this. Looks like Pokemon and Spectrobes.

Oh, and about Starfy. Saw a commercial for it today before Up. Odd, because they had a Minute Maid commercial right after it that had a the same plot and look, I thought they were the same for a moment.
