I need character specific techs for some of my best characters:
Lucas
Ness
Olimar
Mr. Game and Watch
Toon Link
Jigglypuff
Mario
Luigi
Google fails at this. :(
Um...
There aren't a huge number of techs for those individual characters besides the normal techs for everyone (hyphen-smash, pivot techs...).
Most of those are just knowing how to use your character... but I'll try.
Ness
PKF Approach- Double jump, and at the veru beginning of your second jump use PKF. You'll move forward and land in the exact spot where the PKF landed.
PK Cross- Use quick uncharged PK Cross' instead of U-Airs. Cross comes out faster than you would expect and had a larger hitbox. (situational, usually for people who try to D-air you while falling)
Rising Aerial- Ness is great at what is called a rising aerial, basically you can start an aerial while moving upward from your first and/or second jump and it will continue throughout the duration of your momentum. Really useful for use off stage, as you can drop below a ledge then use4 a rising aerial back on to the stage to catch your opponent off guard.
Don't use Olimar, not familiar with Lucas metagame.
Mr. Game and Watch
Use B-air
Toon Link
Boomerang Bounce- Hit your boomerang off the ground or a barrier instead of directly attacking the enemy. It will do less damage, but now you can attack your opponent while they worry about a returning boomerang.
Jigglypuff
D-air to Rest- D-air to Rest
Mario
Cape Gliding- Hard to use on Wi-Fi, but when you run at a ledge with Mario your can activate the cape right as you hit the ledge and you will fly forward with the momentum of the running. If used off of platforms, the same effect occurs. Useful for blocking recoveries, because as you are flying forward you are also using the cape.
Firewall- SH Fireballs. Jump, use a fireball, then slam the control stick in a direction. You'll use a fireball and move backwards or forwards, great for approach or retreat
Luigi
Jab- Luigi's Jab is god
Jab to Fire Punch- If you use the single jab on someone they are momentarily stunned as well as put in perfect range for a fire coin jump. Jab, Up-B
D-tilt to Fire Punch- Same concept, but D-tilt make them... kind of trip I guess, and you can fire Coin jump them while they are still falling to the ground. Works at higher percentages
Before you get AT (advanced techniques) you may want to make sure that you have enough core gameplay down. If you think you do, then www.smashboards.com is the place to go
