I've heard mixed reviews about inFamous. For those that don't know, the game is an open world tale reminiscent to Batman (from what I hear), with a lovely lad that can shock things.
The premise sounds fun. Kill a man. Revive. Kill again. Who wouldn't do that? But I'm not sold on the gameplay...to me, it sounds like rinse and repeat. Has anyone here purchased it?

That's all I've got to work with. D:
I've played this for a while, and it's pretty fun. Don't get why he can't climb a chain-link fence, but it's good.

What are your biggest qualms with it?

Oh so no one replies to me... xD
Anywho, I still haven't gotten this. I was planning on renting it eventually but my dad's been obsessed with Resistance 2 lately. He just beat Fear 2 as well.

Other than the inability to climb chain-link fences, the Good/Evil meter thing is kind of weird. Most people when they play games like with karma options are either super good or super evil, as there's no benefit from being in the middle.
From what I've heard of the game so far, Yahtzee actually got it down pretty well. It's a good game with a few minor issues that don't pull too much from it.

Also, don't play the demo to get an idea of the gameplay. The demo sucks.
Ah thanks FH. Needed that.
I'm definitely telling my brother to pick it up, seems like his type of game.

Funny, the demo is what made me want it.

The demo pulls poop from the middle of the game. Not really a good method to just throw you into the middle to give you a sample of the game. I felt a bit overwhelmed by the enemies.

Shouldn't the demo reflect on the actual title, and not make you shy away...?
No less, thanks for the link.

Eh, i get that. I actually caught on quickly though. I guess that's why I enjoyed it more.
I played it.
I like Prototype more though, but it's still an alright game.

I grabbed it as well. I've seen Prototype from a friend, and so far like this more. I find it to be a very visually stunning game in addition to being a ball to play.
Alright, hostile's recommendation is good enough for me. ;D
