/topic.
Anyways, why do you prefer one?
They seem to think /b/ is hilarious.
A small community is kind of cool, you get to know everybody and such.
With NS2, everybody is just a random person.

This, except most of the people at NS2 still act like they did at the old NSider forums. There's nothing wrong with keeping elements from the old forums, but they just copied every single thing from them.
Oh, and we have cool features that they don't have.
Like an active chat, QDB, Wiki, TF2/Starcraft/Teamspeak servers, etc.
Do I get fired at one place or another for posting? :|
First, this is going to give biased results...being that we are on NSF. But, I may as well post some of the reasons I'm on both
NSF:
I much prefer the users here. Some morons, but easily weeded out. Plus, all in all we're a fairly tight knit community. I also prefer the move away from NSider, while keeping some small traditions in tact. NS2 becomes more and more like NSider every day. And like you said, feature wise, we tend to offer a more robust selection. Also, competent staff, opposed to a vast majority of NS2's which are good for few things (ie. Mods rarely leaving home board, which is usually Power On, not communicating, etc.)
NS2:
MARKET MARKET MARKET
Oh god I love their market. Best use of a market feature I've ever seen. I also love the higher activity, as it helps foster contests (plug for me, yay), and makes it feel more alive. A few users missing is no big deal, opposed to here where one or two active users away kills the activity.
NSFCD grew up. NS2 didn't.
Because I created the place, so I obviously prefer it.
The idiots of NS2 are more than enough to keep me away.
I'm not really active anywhere too much now though.
I never realized I actually hate spam until trying to go to the NS2 Brawl board the past 2 weeks.
Its sad, and really anything worthwhile will get maybe 2 pages of posts while a spam thread will get 20.
Same as Oldsider, but without any modding at all. D:

And now you know why I was as strict as I was.
The people on NS2's Rp board (With a few exceptions, namely Segaguycrazy) are mature.
quality > quantity
Also, it made me realize how much crap was in oldsider. I like to think of NSFCD as the sieve and NS2 as what goes through it.
hmmm
I should go to NS2 since I hate little kids.....
I'm not little. I'm 13. And I'm the youngest active user here.

Well that's the wrong place to go, that's where they all
act like little kids.

I'll bug them. Have fun with it.

Have fun with what?
Because I don't know what Nsider2 is ;)
This is the only board I go to really. I look at some old boards I used to go to but that's it.
Mainly chat, really. And I prefer smaller communities where all members are familiar and where my topics are recognized for an extended time instead of drowning in a sea of spam topics.
Memes and some other stuff there are annoying, as well.
NS2 was awesome because the 2% dominated the smashboard there. Plus there were plenty of idiots to laugh at so it was normally pretty fun. this place isn't bad but ns2 is way better IMO
too bad I'm IP banned from ns2 lol

The 2% of what?
a team of badasses who were better then everyone else (still would be if we were together)
Because I'm comfortable here somewhat. Although NS2 does have more activity, but I never go there anymore.

I'd say that's a clear cut difference. We accept your behavior.

Which makes me laugh when you're in the credits of one of their skins.
I really don't think NS2 is that active.
Sure they have loads of members there, but for what?
They rarely even post anything at all.
Most topics I've ever come across usually only have like 2 or 3 posts for the entire day alone.
But then again, they're all mostly crappy posts and threads.
They're hundreds of staff there.
And I mean a lot of them. I seriously don't think they need that many.
Let's face it.
NS2 is just another reincarnation of Oldsider.

Yeah that was hilarious. It was just for that Samus icon. LF was looking for it and I happened to have it.

Pfft.
We almost need spam, if only for activity. :(
The reason I prefer NSFCD than NS2 is that here, you get to know each other here better. The larger variety of things to do (Wiki, Chat, QDB, etc.) keeps things interesting. The staff seem FAR MORE competent than NS2's, and there seems to be a majority of sane, intelligent, not annoying, people.
Positives of NS2: More active. Er...

I didn't even realize the icons were there, tbqh. Staff (non-moderating) have their own icon that is different :\
I guess I have deeper roots here than I do there. Not that I really know or bothered much to know any of you here. But I think if not for me a lot of you might not be here anyway. I helped bring a user base from one place to here, so come on.
Also I prefer Outsider over both because of Slim and Guff and Caps and actually all of my online friends are over there except Pinkeh.
You're a wonderful person <3
To be honest I am active on neither, I just lurk, though I did find NS2 first...
Because this place is badass and NS2 isn't. Plus like Zovi said...

If you stick around and be active, I'll be corrupt and give you the Legendary rank.
Corruption Boss? Sounds like fun.
Corruption is always fun. It's a requirement to make it on staff.
mods are corrupt
no we're not
