Title: Childhood Games You Could Never Beat?
Post by: Doodle on June 14, 2009, 02:27:14 PM
What are some of the games you used to play as a kid, but could never beat? Maybe you couldn't beat it until later in life, or you still can't.

The Legend of Zelda I haven't beaten to this day. A Link to the Past was the first Zelda game I managed to beat.
I couldn't beat Super Mario Bros. until a few years ago, too.

Well I won't say "couldn't beat" but more like "I just played to have fun so I didn't even try to beat."
It happened to most of my games. Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, pretty much all my N64 games (except Mario 64, which I beat).

Donkey Kong 64. I spent so long on it and I don't think I ever beat it.
Metroid Fusion was a really hard game for me to beat.
Also all the games I played when I was under 7 or 6 I wasn't sure about what I was doing so I guess I never really finished a lot of those.

Star Fox 64
Any RPG, then, and now.
Mega Man. Any of them.
Castlevania (1, 2, and 3)
Metroid
Mario Kart 64
Goldeneye 007 (Still can't beat it)
Bomberman 64 (Still one of the hardest games I've played)

And a lot more. I'll edit if I remember anything else.
