Pfft, there is only 1 kind of Coke...and that is Coka Cola The original. Anything that has the term "COLA" in the name is a rip off, IMO.
But I hate coke anyway!

Look at the left, it is regular Cola, the name of the

BUZZ COLAAnyway, Coke is just my backup drink, my fave is Dr. anything (there are hundreds of different names for Dr. Pepper) or Mr. Pibb.
For the wateriness, maybe they put ice in the soda thing to keep it cold and it melts over time, thus making it watery. Not sure if they do that, but it sounds like a reasonable reason.
Love fountain soda, but I actually haven't had a single sip of soda in about 2 weeks.
I'm getting caffeine relapse headaches as we speak, but I'm going to power through it. My goal is no soda for a month, and then very sparingly after that.
In the South, we call it soda... not sure what Star' talking about. D:

I'm not in the "Red Neck South", but still in the South and we still call it soda. I've never heard anyone say "pop" or "cold drinks" here.
Pop: Northeners.
Soda: Everyone else.
Fountain soda tastes amazing.
I usually prefer it over canned and bottled.
It's called 'Cold Drinks' at delicatessants. But, everyone calls it soda here. I'm from New England and I've never once heard someone call soda 'pop' or anything else besides 'soda' and 'Cold Drink' (once again, only the label at restaurants). And I don't have a preference from where I get my soda. It all tastes the same from every source to me.
I'm from NY and we call it soda.
The syrup needs to be tweaked. The local mcdonalds has amazon coca cola, I go their JUST to buy sodas.
Pepsi from a fountain is awesome as well.
Fountain soda is the best, because it's cheap.

I love fountain soda......but water is much more thirst quenching so I always get that instead. I rarely drink soda anymore.

I just say the drink's name, I don't refer to it as either, and much less "Pop" than "Soda". Pop soulds stupid.
As in northern US, aka Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.
I wonder what Pepsi Throwback would taste like from a fountain.
Pepsi by itself tastes gross in a bottle or can, but I LOVE it from a fountain.
I should get some from 7-eleven, maybe it'll taste better than the restaurant stuff?
