Last night I was checking my local Target store online for avaliability of a particualr Sideswipe transformer(dont ask), when I checked the label read "IN STOCK". Being that It was past 10:00pm, I figured to just get it in the morning, no problemo right? Wrong! When I got there, I could not find a single Sidewipe figure, not even in those mini collectors editions made of metal. I ask one of the employees if there are any in stock and the guy said that they were expecting a re-stock next week. What gives?
Has something like this ever happened 2 u?
That sucks.
I hate when businesses have the stock in the back, but refuse to put it out...even after its actual release. Happens at my Wal-Mart all the time.

just ask them to go get one for you. works for me.
You should have asked if they have any in the back.
Usually around here, they go ahead and look in the back. If they refuse, HOLD THEM AT GUNPOINT, er, I mean, threaten not to ever come back again.
It's how I managed to get the original Mario vs. Donkey Kong when the didn't have any on shelf.

I had already tried that :( Then again, this is the same store that listed [Prototype] for the PC only, yet I bought it for the xbox at the same store :O
