You know what I'm talking about. Sometimes before, there was a moment in a videogame where you worked so hard to get an extraordinary item\EXP spree\whatever just to get annihilated by that monster behind the wall with a sniper\magic\whatever.
Me? Oh, right, dodge 200 lightnings in FFX is an easy tas-*gets zapped, resetting the count to zero* What the, I-I had 196 done!
Tell us about your hard works being destroyed in a second. -_-
I'd say going through the Great Maze to beat SSBB. Certainly not a great moment, like I had hoped, but conquering that ninny...yeah.
Intense mode: Boss battles: Brawl
HOLY SHIT THAT WAS TOUGH!
Gold Chocobo.
There is no way in hell you can do that without a strategy guide. It's annoying enough knowing how to do it.

That.
It was hell in a disk on my first play through. Now it's not that bad.
I'm the master of these.
Trying to rescue every reploid in Mega Man X7: DAMMIT, WHY THE HELL DO YOU STAGGER BACKWARDS FROM BEING LOVE-TAPPED BY A BAT OF ALL THINGS!
Trying to rescue Calco and Brina in Final Fantasy IV: After Years: Okay, after three hours, maybe they'll drop the Mythril Nut...NO, it's the BOLT! ;_;
Unlocking all the characters in Mario Kart Wii
Getting every soul in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Trying to get the best ending in Bomberman 64
Trying to beat Control on Secret Agent in Goldeneye 007
Killing Galdes to get Ragnarok in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time: Don't get hit with ice, don't get hit with ice, don't get, GODDAMMIT, HE USED LIGHTNING
Scanning every existing piece of matter in Metroid Prime Hunters
I think I'll stop now. D=
Cloning Pokemon in D/P using the GTS.
Probably finding the skulls in Halo Wars. In the other Halo games, they were easy to find, but in Halo Wars... oh god DX

Am I the only person that absolutely loved the Great Maze? D:
I lost to Tabuu in SSBB Boss Battle Intense with Captain Falcon... I SHOULD'VE won but the Knee's hitboxes are so wonky and finnicky in that game.
I lost to Black Shadow a LOT in Very Hard (max) difficulty in F-Zero GX Mission 7: F-Zero Grand Prix. I got my revenge when I beat him by .473 seconds
In Diamond, I lost to Sylvia because my last attack missed, and her Garchomp used an uber and killed me in one hit. Fucking random chance element.

No. ^_^
100 purple coin challenge with a time limit. So many lives...wasted.
...and the Great Maze wasn't that bad. I flew through it my first try.
That one time on my first Hard Mode playthrough of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, on the Boost Guardian.
I thought I finally beat him. But, only down to 3 energy. Run to nearest energy pickup. THEN I DIE.
I raged hard after that.Quote from: Qsmashbro on June 29, 2009, 11:58:25 AM

Those purple coin challenges with time limits were a ninny at times.
Trying to get every single gap in the Tony Hawk games. D=
The Special Items/Achievements in Dead Rising.

But you get a chick in a swimsuit in Tony Hawk 2!
Besides, you can just cheat for that...

Yeah, but it's more rewarding to earn it. D:
15 minute melee was gay as intercourse .....so boring.
I had 3 seconds left then a bomb spawned right next to me and killed me.

I think gaps was the only thing in that game I cheated on. Ah Tony Hawk 2. I still have my PS1 version with Officer Dick, Spider-Man, and Wolverine unlocked legitimately.
I love the moon level though, back when the series actually had a decent sense of humor about it.
I was fighting the last boss in PM2 and the darn stage kept freezing me. Because of the darn freezing, Vivian died and I couldn't hide from the 14 damage move... ESPECIALLY WHEN I GOT FROZEN AGAIN!
Star Ocean 3.
Levantine + Item Creation + Refining + Getting What You Want Of It = Hours of hell.
Well I haven't gotten it YET but I want to get max levels and max classes on Blue Dragon(My current addiction).
Freakin' SUCKS!
