Where will you put the sheath when you use it? On your back? or on your side?
(I don't care if you'd never use a sword, or if you always use a sword, just answer the question)
Uh...I guess back. I'll be going LoZ style. :3
lower back, at the hip
The sheath would go- *Censored*
It would go on my back. :P
Back. It'd be a badass way to unsheath it.
Carry it in my left arm at my hip.
That always seems bad@$$ to me
Back, probably.
Unless, of course, I've received a katana, then it'd be at the hip.
Lower back, horizontally.
I'd use it to pwn nubs.
Throw it. You don't need a sword. You're in a Nintendo-spinoff forum full of gays, furries, guys whose names are Doodle, and corrupt Mods. What's the worst that could happen?
Depends. If it's a short sword, I'll put it on my back. If it's a longsword, it's going on my hip.
Probably at the hip. Unless it's a large sword; then it'd go on my back.
On my waist because any sword that big that it would drag on the ground or wouldn't fit on my waist is probably one that I can't carry.
I don't like sheaths.
right next to my gun
A large sword more like Link's would go on my back, a katana or a short sword would go on my side.
Kinda like Musashi in Brave Fencer Musashi, he has Lumina on his back and Fusion on his side.
I'd put it on the side of my leg, then walk all formal-like. o:
I'd put it in this thread, as I don't see its merit. I want to know what you are getting at, please.

You got a problem with the word "Doodle," punk? *unsheaths*
Unsheathing your Doodle? In public? Classy.

Nothing really, I would just like to know. I would actually just put it in that one thread where you ask a question for the person below, but since that thread is long gone, I decided to make it a thread.
Feel free to lock it if you want.
psh who needs sheaths?
I'd hold it in my hand and hoist it onto my shoulder.

Who are you? Guy Cecil?
On my back. It's the traditional way.
You're all idiots.
Guarantee none of you could put a sheath on your back and be able to extend your arm the right way to get the sword out easily.
Left hip.

Dunno about you, but I could do that easily.

Unfortunately, your logic fails because of Link.

My logic fails because a video game character can do it?
:|
It IS possible, but very difficult. I am willing to bet that none of you could do it.

I am going to agree with Rob here. It seems simple, but you guys are you to end up pulling the case up with the sword and not being able to get it out. Also it takes longer than just holding onto your hip and pulling. However, on your back it might not feel as much of a drag to carry around.

I like that way too.

That's because you're Super.
I only speak from experience. I own four swords myself.
It hurts to disagree with Rob, dunno why, but....
When I was younger(I still have it now) my uncle carved me a wooden sword. I was easily able to pull it out from it being on my back, as I would stick it down my shirt. Then again, I had no sheath to worry about pulling it out of, and it was just a wooden sword(although it was big on me at the time =/ )

The sheath is what makes it hard. If you strapped it to your back there would be no problems pulling it out.

I'm extremely jealous. I love swords. My parents don't want me getting one though
:(
"What are you going to do with it?"
"You'll just out grow it, save your money for something else."
That's some things they would say...

Maybe that explains why Ichigo and Cloud don't use a sheath =p
Left side is logical, as I'm a righty.
On my back, dagger sheathed on my side.
If I got a sword in this life, then I would mount it on my wall, as I would have no use for it other than show. If I lived in a video-game world, I would carry it on my utility belt next to my elixers and crystals.
my back.
If I was able to get it out, and then sheathing it without stabbing myself.
Link makes it look so darn easy. :(
*Zelda 'obtain item' jingle*
Most likely on my belt, left side.
