Title: All but one of The Beatles: Rock Band songs revealed.
Post by: Linkman on July 20, 2009, 09:40:54 PM
Which brings the revealed song count up to 18 out of 45 songs.

http://kotaku.com/5319108/new-beatles-rock-band-trailer-confirms-eight-more-tracks

The 18 revealed tracks so far are...

"Back in the U.S.S.R."
"Can't Buy Me Love"
"Day Tripper"
"Eight Days a Week"
"Get Back"
"Here Comes the Sun"
"I Am the Walrus"
"I Feel Fine"
"I Saw Her Standing There"
"I Want to Hold Your Hand"
"Octopus's Garden"
"Paperback Writer"
"Revolution"
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
"Taxman"
"Twist and Shout"
"Within You Without You"
"Yellow Submarine"

Too bad Twist and Shout, and Paperback Writer were already in the first trailer.  A Hard Day's night was also in said trailer meaning that song will probably be in the game as well.

Oh man, this song list just keeps getting better and better! Revolution, Twist and Shout, Paperback Writer? There's nothing that can ruin this list! Not one-

Fixed. "Within You Without You" is badass. Anyways, I'm pleased with new additions especially for the addition of the Yellow Submarine although it was expected.

YAY! Haven't heard that one in years!

I think they should have the special Jimi Hendrix version of Sgt. Pepper, hidding somewhere within the game.

Well I wasn't planning on getting anyways, but the song choices aren't the best. W/e, I'll keep with listening to every song, you can enjoy playing some of them :3

Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End combo?
...Is rumored to be the final song. (Unsure if this has been proven wrong yet)

imo, It's a pretty good list. My parents are getting it for me as a birthday gift that doesn't count off my birthday money because everyone in my house likes The Beatles. With the Multi-Vocalist feature and the improved graphics, along with the improved way of activating OD On drums, you can count me excited. I'm not as excited for this as I am for GH5/VH (Woo getting VH Free with GH5 deal) But I'll still end up playing this.

(hey look a game I can actually get all five stars on on drums)

Eh, we'll see.

And pretty good was a pretty bad expression of how much I like this list. I personally think this will by far be the best "GH/RB:Artist List" To date (Aside from the pearl jam/green day track packs coming, but those are track packs, and pearl jam is live anyways l: ) And It'll by far be my second favorite GH/RB Spin-Off (<3 Smash Hits) And I will heavily be playing it more than most of my other gh/rb games even after I get tired of the list.

It even has back in the ussr. One beatles song I've always wanted to see in these games due to how well it just fits overall.

That's probably a better summary of how I feel about this setlist. It's definitely better than decent but with all the other good rhythm games and me not being a gigantic beatles fan. I'll probably have more to say about it once I actually play it, as that's how I mainly judge with these games. :P

Abbey Road, Rubber Soul and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band are going to be fully released as DLC very soon after the release of the game itself.

Just because you don't like the setlist right now doesn't mean you shouldn't invest in buying the game.

If they add the full White Album (both discs) and revolver...intercourse  ya. It's mine.
Edit: Very much liking the vintage feel now. They've done the scenery justice as well. And it looks like it might be harder than we think. Obviously it won't be very hard, but more than I figured.
Double Edit: Ringo's nose is way too...normal looking.

They'll probably end up adding most of the albums at one point. It's not like they're gonna use the discography outside this game. As for scenery, I agree. I'm really digging the "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" One.

As for difficulty, It won't be that hard to full game five star/gold-star/FC (even on vocals) But I think this (watch full gameplay) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq-t2kv8XsI) Will be hard/annoying to FC On guitar/vocals/bass. Can't really say anything about drums. However fun =/= hard

Fuck you I listen to the discography all the time :/ :P
My favorite so far are them with Ed Sullivan, and in the studio during the Abbey Road era. Really captures it well. Lol if they include all the fighting.

I think Ringo's drum work could be a bit hard, as well as very fun. It'd be great if they included a mode where you for right handed you had to play on something like a left handed drum set (Ringo played on a right though he was a leftie). If Because is included as DLC that could be quite hard to perfect on Expert (vocals). Overall it'll be a fun game, I'm just debating whether it's worth $250, when I could easily buy something else with that.

I mean by; Think of it, The Beatles are Exclusive to HMX In terms of rhythm gaming, they own the entire discography. They already have some albums out - What would stop them from putting the rest? They've charted tons of DLC In RB2 easily, so nothing is holding them back from putting most of the rest out unless they're allergic to money.

You could just buy game only and then get a kit off of something else (ie wt kits are going for 100$ At places, and I know the ones my sister got from wall-mart work well) And then get game-only to The Beatles. Overall you'll get the same (Or about the same lol) experience and you'll save more money (IE If you got software only + wt kit [unsure on any rb2 kit sales, If you wanted the better drum experience for rb] Then that's 160$, Saving 90$, and you can get another guitar/Beatles DLC/Other rhythm games or games in general for your 360...And a lot of other things)

It's always good to start off with the ideal equipment (2 guitars + drums + mic...But mic is insanely easy to get) That fits your budget and doesn't break. (And works with all/most of the games you have of these) So I'd take more of a look into it If I were you before making your choice.

They do not own the discography. But yes, you're right, most likely most of the discography will be put out (other than most likely Please Please Me or Meet the Beatles, maybe a few other albums). Mainly just due to some of their songs aren't really fit for Rock Band.

I'd buy the Beatles set if I did buy it, mainly due to the the replica instruments (very well done). Yes, silly, but I'd want the "full" experience if I did buy it. Plus Gretsch ftmfw. I just meant that I'm not sure if I even want to spend $250 on a video game. That's alot of cash, which could be spent on something less...ya.

Apparently they're having a few extras so I may consider the game. I doubt I'll get it unless it's a gift though.

IIRC, They don't own it but they have rights to use a majority or the discography...Something like that. Aside from songs that aren't fit, they'll end up putting a lot out (Seriously, 3 albums announced and we're still 20 days away)

The full experience comes from the game itself imho, I mean, the instruments are basically RB2 but beatleized (lol) I'd just get it as a gift If you're REALLY Bent on having the full kit. If not; Take more of a look into other instruments to get with your switch to 360 (Tho, I spent 190$ On my WT Kit as a bday gift, still don't regret it)

It's not. Four people with the game have confirmed it already. HMX's "It's only confirmed when It's confirmed" Theory only applies in a few actually relevant situations (IE "LOL HOLY CRAP DAVE MUSTAINE SAID TO ME THAT RUST IN PEACE WILL BE IN ROCK BAND")

It's the same list as the other consoles, and you guys get the same downloadable content. The main difference comes to things like graphics and being forced to use FC's.

It's still not the greatest, but at least they didn't go too far with it. I think 45 is already pushing to how bored average players would get of one artist. Would an 80 songlist of just The Beatles really suffice?

So for what they did, I think It's pretty good. One of the best GH/RB Games this year, but for me GH5 takes the cake this year imo. Still getting this tomorrow @ midnight launch, yay.

Played career on drums on the new logitech set I got for my birthday. I have to say; While It does not have my approval over GH5 (Amazing way to start a platform, NS, blah), It DOES Have appreciation over every other artist game. I can't wait to do all the songs on Vocals, Guitar, and Bass, and the Endless Setlist (I don't even know how to get to that; I want to have a silver icon on all of my instruments already, lol)

I played it today for the first time, and I have to say, I thought it was amazing.
As (づ。◔‿◔。)づ did, I gained a new appreciation for the Beatles playing through it, although I did like them beforehand.

I played all four instruments, and after playing through most of the songs on drums, my friend and I did dual vocals through a number of the songs as well, while I played guitar. The harmonies were more fun than I could have even imagined. Normally when I sing along with a song on the radio or whatever, I naturally stray to the backup harmonies. Singing with my friend while doing the harmonies was just so much fun, I could have probably done it all night if it weren't for a sleeping baby in the apartment downstairs. I really, really hope that Rock Band keeps this feature in future games. So many songs could use them.
