Title: Red Steel 2 Delayed
Post by: Macawmoses on July 27, 2009, 09:11:13 PM
Originally, RS2 was supposed to debut at the end of the year - just in time for the holiday cash cow. But, unsurprisingly, it's been pushed back to a Spring Release...why? Quality assurance. Now, I'm sure it will be good (based on E3 reports)...but I don't see what the few months will do to polish the game. Is anyone a tad disappointed by this?

Not really, the first game was horrible.
And when the first game in the series is horrible, the sequel barely even blips my radar...

The first was passable. Let's be fair when we say the starting lineup of both PS3 and Wii were not the best. Considering RS2 is an entirely new game (and basically a new series) I don't think that's a fair evaluation.

I'm disappointed, because I'd like to try out the new sword controls with MotionPlus.
Oh well, as long as the endgame is fantastic, I don't mind.

I'm willing to to wait for just about anything.

Except Duke Nukem.  I actually forgot that game was being made for like 6 years.

Someone mentioned it a few months ago and I was like "Wait didn't that company go bankrupt or something?"

Seriously though RS2 looks infinitely more interesting than RS1.
