I found IV to be a much better game than III.

I just remembered something. Neither.
All the bosses in both are ridiculous. They made it so that if you don't use the strategy of spamming a certain move at certain parts of the battle, you lose. It's really gay, and they called it "making it harder" when all it did was make it boring.

I haven't played FFIV on ds but FFIII was okay. I sorta got bored halfway thru but i think that's just me and long rpgs.

lol I never had that problem. You obviously don't understand how oldschool jrpgs work. What you're supposed to do is grind your ass off, which is still boring, but you aren't supposed to "spam a move over and over". You can of course, and that is a strategy, but it really isn't necessary like you seem to believe.
I like FFIV more because the story doesn't smell of dead fish. FFIII's story is just another completely uninteresting twist on the first games story, which is boring. FFV is like FFIII, incidentally. The reason I like IV so much is because Square actually tried plot-wise.
