Did anyone ever even use one of the GBA to GCN connection cables? I know there were a few games that used it, but it was a huge pain. I remember using it for Four Swords, and, uh...Wind Waker? I think?
That's pretty much the only real use I ever figured out with it. Oh, and some demo disc that gave me sweet poop in Fire Emblem.
Wind Waker and Animal Crossing were the reasons I bought it. You had to buy a cable AND an e-Reader to get the most out of the original Animal Crossing. >:(
I had three. Two Nintendo, one Madcatz. While I used them for Wind Waker and Four Swords, Crystal Chronicles got the most out of it, in both modes.
...hell, you needed the cable if you wanted to get anywhere in Crystal Chronicles!
Four Swords, Crystal Chronicles, and Phantasy Star Episodes 1&2. I had three and I miss playing CC! ;_;
Sonic Adventure (2) and the two Pokemon RPG titles on the Cube.
I used them a ton.
The games I remember using them with are: Pokemon Box (which I used extremely frequently to transfer pokes), Four Swords, Wind Waker (I finished all Tingle sidequests), Crystal Chronicles (I played it a ton with Noil), Pokemon Colosseum/XD, and Sonic Adventure 1&2.
I had hope in Wii's wireless DS connection being used more than the GBA-GCN link cable, because of not even requiring an additional accessory, but yet it's only implemented in ONE disc-based game so far that I know of, along with one WiiWare game (both of which are Pokemon).
I now have four of them. My first was bundled with Crystal Chronicles, I bought a second so I could play it with a friend, Pokemon Box bundled my third, and Four Swords raised my count to Four Cords. That pun sucked D:
The legend of zelda four swords adventures. I bought two cables and one came with the game. The shadow battles were really fun.
No. My mom bought it for me cause I thought it could be used to play GBA games on the TV. So much for that :(
That would be a Gameboy Player, Mystic.
