This girl, really cute, really good friend, texted me earlier asking if I'm busy on the 10th.
I say no plans yet, but she doesn't respond.
I finally get in touch with her and ask her what was up, and she said she was gonna ask me to go on an adventure to Conneticut with her (ferry ride from Long Island) to see some bands she likes, but decided against it since she knew I'd hate the bands and didn't wanna drag me along, and ultimately decided against it altogether and isn't going.
I looked up the bands, yeah they're poop.
SO WHAT DO I DO?
SUCK IT UP, PRETEND I LIKE THEM, SPEND THE TIME WITH HER ALONE FOR A WHOLE DAY ON AN ADVENTURE?
Or say intercourse it and don't go?
in retrospect this seems simple enough.
It's not about the bands, it's about the girl.
If you don't go, I'll have to take your man card.

It's such ear rape ;_;
Suck it up and go.
Go, but also tell her that you only went for her. But you have to say it good, not make her feel bad. Don't say, "These bands are crap, but at least I got to hang out with you"
Say something like, "Doesn't really matter if these guys were good or bad, at least I got to be here with you" :3
Really? You guys say go? Pah.
If you don't like it, be honest, and say you don't want to go. Find a compromise - for instance, offer to take her to a movie. Honestly, relationships aren't about getting what you want, it's about compromise.
She did that specifically to make you go crazy. She succeed. Listen to one of the songs and try to remember a part so it seems like you like them, then convince her you do so she'll go with you.
What Magnum said may work, but she will feel a little guilty the whole time.
Go. The whole time just think
"At least she isn't taking me to see THIS band"
*THIS:
Uh, yeah.
Do what Custom said.
>_<
My personalized advice:
Ditch the ninny and find a girl ready for a whirl.
That seems to be your style, anyway.

I'm far more in support of this then "oh be a good guy and endure poopty music".
Mack needs to feel the love :3
Really, using myself as an example, if the person I am interested in wanted to see something like that (say, a concert of this odd alternative boy band that she likes that I don't), I would not hestitate to go with her.
If you really like her, you would have more fun at that concert than a concert with artists you actually like.
Mack doesn't seem to realize that while getting a door slammed on your foot may hurt, at least you're foot's in the door.
Did I mention the Ferry is 51 dollars both ways with my car, +10 dollars for the concert and whatever gas I need?
Just how pretty and endearing is this girl, Rob?
Well I say go, not because you may get some with the girl for it, but because it should be better than doing nothing. Unless you could get better plans, why not go and have some fun? It's not like the band is going to be the only thing you guys do while your in Connecticut. And maybe you can chill, go out to dinner, or do whatever else that you two may fancy. It's not about the band, it's about the experience.
I'd go whether I didn't like the band or not because it would still be an interesting experience. Who knows what might happen that you wouldn't want to have missed.
Unless, of course, there is something more interesting waiting for you back home. If she really is a good friend, you'll have more opportunities with her. But like I said: Go, it could be fun and isn't just about a poopty band. Unless you have something better to do, then you could make it up with her by suggesting to do something else another time.
I say, you need to pull on a red blocking pattern and let your tackle fold to the left to pick up your dropped man.
Then play pass coverage as needed and let your QB look for the open post.
Moral of the story is invite her to do something.
Preferably football?

But the QB got sacked D=
Don't look too deep into that, because it's not suppose to mean anything :robottongue:
Get a stunt double.
I'm not really one for this kind of advise, since you know that whole Jessica episode....
But because of my indifference to everything, if I were you I would just say that it's not your favorite band but you'll go anyways if she wants you to go....
