We don't know when it comes, but we know it is soon...ish. The Achievements Updates seem needed...dunno about NetFlix. You guys looking forward to these?
Live Theater would be amazing if you can do it with DVD's.
That was the only one I'm interested in.
Netflix would be more awesome if it can be used with DVD's....
but still, it's very good.
I wonder if everyone has to pay for the movie to watch it together....
Everything else is pretty neat too.
I hate getting disconnected from parties for no reason.
I keep forgetting to by the wireless adapter, so no update for me :(
i got the beta for it. it's pretty good
I believe the update hits August 11.
I already have the update :) The reconnecting to parties is really convenient. But the sound you hear in your mic when you join gets annoying. Netflix loads slower and avatar marketplace is okay.

They've been advertising beta invites for the past couple of weeks, now. I think invites are over, though.

Yeah, a friend told me and i signed up. I think they gave me beta because i'm a netflix subscriber.
Avatar props and outfits from games seem sweet (I'm hoping for stuff from Sonic, Batman, Banjo-Kazooie, and Star Wars, though only BK is actually owned by M$ ), especially since you can unlock some of it by actually playing the games, as that gives me much more motivation and satisfaction than the worthless Achievement points. I also like the Gold expiration warnings, being able to download full 360 games as well as free redownload (since I only have a 20G hard drive), Voice Message warnings so that I don't have to wait with volume on max trying to hear nothing, and faster account recovery. With all that, combined with the tons of other things I'll probably never notice or use (like Netflix), I'd say this is the best update we've gotten. :)
Why doesn't Wii's updates ever give us anything useful or interesting? :(
Sounds like an awesome update. Really, I'm interested in GUI speedups.
But hopefully there will be some surprises. I love random little surprise features.
All sounds good. I'm looking forward to it. The Netflix doesn't work with people who don't have Netflix does it ????? As in, my friend who has Netflix watches a movie and invites me (or something) to watch it with them in the virtual theater and I don't have Netflix. Am I still able to watch it with them? (No, right? :() Anyway, the rest sounds great.
