Title: High Voltage expanding from shooters?
Post by: Eizweir on August 10, 2009, 06:16:45 AM
In a recent Radio-Blodec podcast, High Voltage Software's Joshua Olson mentioned some other genres they might be interested in.

?The great thing about working at High Voltage is that we make a variety of games ? shooters, games for kids. I personally would love to make a western RPG type game and so far and up until this point, that?s something that we haven?t done here at High Voltage.?

Commments?  Concerns?  I personally haven't played much Conduit so I wouldn't know much about High Voltage, but apparently they've done some good in the gaming world.  We'll see how this turns out.

it's their company, they can make whatever they want.

Frankly so far their shooters aren't anything to be too proud of...

Their initial titles were all licenses of odd things like Hot Wheels if I recall. Now that they are making their own IPs (The Conduit, Animales De La Muertes, etc) I see more potential. But really...check their WW releases, and you'll see their non shooting side...
