Title: Embarrassing situations.
Post by: Silverhawk79 on August 15, 2009, 08:21:41 PM
Everyone's been in at least one. Let's share some.
I'll start:
Today, I was eating at a Chinese restaurant, and my food was spicy. I was eating some rice and laughed, and some rice went up my nose (wat). It was covered in the spicy sauce. I ended up grabbing a napkin and going *SNRRRK* and shooting rice and a ton of snot out of my nose. Everyone at the table was laughing their ass off, but I felt like an idiot. ;_;

hmm lets see, I got into a err....intoxicated fight and felt like an idiot after, even though it wasn't really a big deal.

I put a hole in the wall and had to tell my mom.

Six days ago.

I went swimming today and was wearing my bathing suit with the top that sometimes slips up. So I dove in, and when I came up my top had come off. Well I didn't realize until someone else told me, and it was really awkward. And that's as least personal as I can get into.

I always mistake two girls at the local game store.

They look nothing alike :|

I'm surprised I'm telling this.
(Freshman year) In class, some guy was playing "2 for flinching" with me for a long time, after a while I ran, he hit me and then I fell, did a somersault, then hit my head on the floor hard. It hit so hard that some tears were pushed out, people laughed 'cause they though I was crying, and both pains (pain in the head and humiliation pain) combined and made real crying tears. :-[

I slipped on a fish once. Thing was, I really wasn't expecting it to be there, as the nearest water anything was a mile away. I stepped on it, and slipped. It was right in the middle of the sidewalk. HOW DID IT GET THERE? Who knows. All I know is everybody on East Wash (Our Mini-Highway) saw me slip on a fish.

I went into a Japanese grocery looking for red bean paste or black sesame paste buns.  One of the workers there was really nice and kept trying to find what I wanted.  She obviously wasn't very good with English, and I knew that I could probably get a few easy points across in Japanese, but I didn't want to chance it because she might think I am fluent and then talk to me as if I'd understand her completely.  After she helped me, I decided to be all otaku and thank her in Japanese but I ended up getting slightly flustered in the heat of the moment and just did a slight bow and an "arigatou" which would be wrong in that situation because I should be a lot more formal and say "arigatou gozaimapoopa."  She giggled and I felt like an idiot.

I went into an Asian food store once with my friends and bought a petrified fish lol. We then took it to Petsmart and asked them why the "fish we had just bought from them" had already died.

haha it sounds stupid but it was actually really funny.

I fell out of my chair in class once.

Made a weird half laugh half yelp.
Sufficed to say we had a new school meme for a few days. D:

This sounds pretty amusing to me.

Sounds like something that would happen in a cartoon.

Either when I curbed the car because someone next to me was drifting into my lane (I was mad and embarrassed...)

When I accidentally goosed the throttle in the vette around a turn.  My dad chewed me out on that one, because he's sensitive...  Shoulda done that with TCS off and see how he liked it :D  ...or not...

Can't think of anything else.

Oh, and speaking of fish, me and a couple of my friends were riding out bikes around for fun, and went behind an abandoned gas station as a short cut, and found dead fish laying all over the ground.  It was wierd.

Oh, and another time when I was just starting driving, it was the first time driving my mom's car, and I went through the car wash. I was trying to move forward, but I guess I was mashing the brakes. The car wash attendant was motioning for me to move forward, so I hit the brakes harder until I figured it out and moved forward.
I felt like a moron. ;__;

First time I went out driving I had problems with accelerating smoothly; so from full stops it seemed like I was just mashing down the gas trying to go somewhere in a hurry :x

Also I cut off someone because I didn't bother looking in my right mirror, which was ironic because I was saying how I always look before changing lanes.

We had an assignment to detail disadvantages and advantages of a connected island (by land bridge) in war. I detailed a full page. Turns out we needed 2 sentences. Oh, and we read them out loud. I sounded like an idiot :/

There was a pool party, I was kinda tipsy and didn't bring my bathing suits since I showed up kinda late. So I figured lets look cool infront of all these people and go in with my JEANS! But waist time wind up not going. Well my plans went totally bad when my good friend pushed me in the water.
Or that 1 time my mom told this girl I liked that I finally got to come over my house that I like her alot.
One time in school I had a bonner and I had to present this thing about wall street, I told my teacher I got a little problem, and this girl was like A LITTLE PROBLEM! U GOT THAT RIGHT OLOLOLOLOLOL.
