Get to go see Blink-182 tonight on their reunion tour in St. Paul. I'm so freaking pumped. They're like my 2nd favorite band.
So i figured I'd take the opportunity to ask everyone the best concert they've ever been to, and how that compared to how much they liked the band. I've noticed that some of the best concerts are when it's like a new band and you haven't heard anything, and you fall in love with them at the concert.
And also, what is your favorite band? I don't want any criticism among people's tastes, so if you're just going to be a jerk, don't post.
I've only ever been to one concert. Godsmack :)
Not much of a concert go-er
Favorite band: Don't know. I don't listen to music all that much in the first place. I like Godsmack(duh), Iosys, Metallica, Coldplay, and others, but no favorite.
Never been to a concert before, but I hope to see AC/DC when they come to California in early September. As for my favorite band that is and most likely always will be The Beatles.
i went to see mstrkrft a couple of weeks ago. they were great. probably even better than last year. blink was in town the following night. one me my friends who is a huge fan went, but said that they were a bit uninspired. the best concert i've been to though was elton john earlier this year. he was amazing.
The last concert I went to was a The Ready Set/NeverShoutNever/Boys Like Girls concert. It was just perfect! I loved it!
I like fun music! anything catchy! also, I focus a lot on vocals, so guitar riffs and solos don't really do it for me.
My favorite band of all time would have to be Motion City Soundtrack! <3333
Best concert I've been to is Dave Matthews Band (recently, its also the only concert I've ever been to). I almost got to go to a Lil Wayne concert a few years ago which would of been sick, but I didn't.
Favorite band is Metallica, and then prolly Nirvana.
Best Concert? Definitely Rain, a Beatles tribute band. They did the performance wonderfully.
Favorite Band: Beatles.

Interesting combination, Metallica and Coldplay. I love both too though.
I'd kill to go to a Beatle's concert now. Lol. If only.
Oh, and just to mention it, I'm also seeing Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and Chester French as opening acts for Blink today. (Chester French being the one I couldn't care less about)
Blink-182 and Weezer are playing at a concert around here pretty soon. :o
weezer hasn't made a good album in a long time though.

Think that's weird. I like Opera. I think that it sounds great.
Music wise, I like very calm songs(Coldplay, opera, Metallica((sometimes)), ect...) and things that get me going(Iosys, Metallica, internet stuff((Okkusenman)), ect...)
The best concert I've gone to was over this last summer; a Coldplay concert. The music, the lights, the sounds, the atmosphere; everything was absolutely amazing. I had a great time, and I'd love to see them again.
As for my favorite band, I have a few; among them, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Death Cab For Cutie, Ra Ra Riot, The Beatles, and The Mars Volta.

Their new album looks to be pretty bad.

I disagree. Have you heard (If You're Wondering If I want You to) I want you to?
I've seen They Might Be Giants, and Streetlight Manifesto 3 times (to be 4 in September). Streetlight shows are always the best especially cuz at every one, my group of friends patronizes the lead singer.
Also I've played over a dozen shows with my own band, which is fun in its own right (moshing with spectators while you play your own song is great), while also watching other bands for free.
