Once school is out, people usually no longer have something to wake up to in the morning (darn you, Captain's practices). On school nights, I'll go to bed at around midnight and then wake up at six. But over the summer, I'll go to bed at three or four, then wake up in the afternoon. Sometimes I don't go to sleep at all, but from six to eight in the morning, it is torture to stay awake. Especially if you fall asleep for half an hour and then are abruptly woken up to go get a physical. After that it's all right.

Anyway, how do your sleeping patterns change over the summer?

Don't change at all. I go to sleep at around 12:00 without sleeping meds, and whenever else when I actually take them(rare).

Wake up at 8:00-3:00

I go to bed later, but wake up 2 hours later.

But Summer has come and gone for me.

My sleeping pattern only shifts to one hour later sleeping and one hour later waking up.

I still allow myself 8 hours.
