Title: Steamlord glitch in MP3 (spoilers) EDIT: New glitch found.
Post by: GigaMetroid99 on October 07, 2007, 08:05:40 PM
This happened during the first Steamlord battle.

I had knocked out all of the Steambots, and then the Steamlord appeared to revive them. I shot at him, and he disappeared without reviving anyone. And then... he didn't come back. I was stuck in that locked room for a half-hour before deciding that he wasn't going to reappear, so I turned off the power.

Has anyone else encountered this glitch?

It was pretty smart of the Steamlord. Locking Samus in a room and then leaving her to starve to death. Bowser never would have thought of that.

EDIT: Found a new glitch, this time in Metroid Fusion. I was battling the SA-X. I have no idea what I did, but after the SA-X mutated into that giant monster, the charged Wave Beam didn't work on it. Considering that's the only way to attack it, I pretty much couldn't beat it. I wasn't doing anything different from any of the other hundreds of times I battled it, so it must've been a glitch.

What, is October "Metroid Glitch Month" or something? :P

That was the first encounter with the Steamlord, quite a while before you get the X-Ray Visor.;)

Wow.  Talk about crazy!  Seriously, that's never happened to me before.

But, I found a glitch in the first big room in Bryyo Fire, not the landing site, after you have the plasma cannon.  On the side closest to the door you come in from the imperial hall, then try and have the reptilicus jump into the fuel gel.  Instead of jumping in there (which I later found out that they can't get hurt by the fuel gel after I come back in), it seemed to jump into an invisible wall...  So it turns back around and jumps again, and again, and again.  The wierder part is the reptilicus seems to move in a semi-slo-mo.  And, when I got to that same side, it kept jumping like that.  So I kill it.

Hmmmm... tried shooting near the door (or just wildly)?

I edited the first post with a new glitch I found in Metroid Fusion.
