an IV battle or IV checking code can do that, Kaos. Or if he RNGed it and it's shiny, he pretty much for sure hit his spread so he'd know.

Either way, no way would I give up a shiny event for an easily RNGed pokemon :|

Also, if I can get my wi-fi working and anyone has an extra Darkrai they don't want, or an invaluable one they can lend my two games for my dex, I can lend a Shaymin :3
