So anyway, earlier I was watching this show called "Say Yes To The Dress", which is like..this show where brides go and look for their perfect wedding dress. It's totally a chick show, but whatever. So anyways this lesbian couple was on the show looking for dresses and my mom was like "Um what? A lesbian couple? What's with that?", and I said "So what? :|" and she was like "What? You think it's okay for people to be gay?" and I said "yeah, it's fine".
Oh, as a side note, my family is Muslim. I was too up until like...several months ago when I decided that religion is bullpoop and i'm Agnostic now. However, my mom doesn't know this because she would literally murder me if she found out. :o
So anyway, my mom started whining at me about how Muslims aren't supposed to accept gays or some bullpoop like that, and then she started going crazy when I said I have gay friends, and she was like "Muslims aren't allowed to have gay friends either. :|"
She was being really stupid about it, but yeah, that's pretty much what happened. She's crazy olol. Are your parents crazy about gays as well or do they not really care either way?
Yeah, my mom doesn't like interracial couples or gay couples.
I mess with her about it all the time. Great fun.

My parents don't give poop about people being gay. My mom voted yes on prop. 6 and although dad my doesn't really give a poop, he is slightly homophobic as in he is crept out around those who are. Funny poop, he always whispers something to me or my mom about how crept out he is.

seeing as how my parents are of different race, i'm fairly sure they don't care about interracial marriage. Gay marriage, I don't know, but I'm sure they wouldn't actually care that much, so long as it remains "not in my backyard". But that's not a problem, because there hasn't been a gay couple in my extended family.... ever.
Dad just outright dislikes them. Tells me never to trust them lest they want to screw me or some bullpoop.

I don't think she actually thinks her parents would murder her. It is just like someone saying "Oh my God, my mom's going to murder me if she found out I broke that vase!" You know she won't, you are just exaggerating on the fact that she would be extremely mad off.
Also, both of my parents are against gay marriage. I think it is fine. What I hate more than anything is not letting people do something for the intercourse ing pooptiest reasons. My dad thinks that marriage should be "when a man and a woman have children". Not only does he not agree with gays because they can't have children, but if a man or a woman are sterile and therefore can not have kids, he doesn't think their marriage exists. You are only married if have, and legitimately can, have children. To me this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in the world (actually no, but it annoys me), but I can't change what he believes, so I just have to deal with it. He's also homophobic.
The funny thing is, although they both disagree with gay marriages, they hosted a gay marriage for their lesbian friends. They went to the wedding and then hosted the reception at our house. I asked my mom about it because I was interested in how the two conflicting ideas of "ew, gays" and "yay my friends are getting married!" clashed. She said you have to suck it up for your friends' sake even if it may not be something you are totally in love with.

I'm not gonna lie, my dad's one of those stereotypical homophobic black males. My mom's pretty open about a lot of things though... but I was mad one day and told her God didn't exist (said sorry for that later). We're not super religious, but still, she didn't appreciate that.

Here in winnipeg, something of the sort happened.
A car was found at the bottom of one of the rivers here. I forget which one. Four people dead iirc, all of them teenaged. Police figured they just lost control and drove into the river.
Turns out that the parents were muslim extremists, and they had their child drive their daughter, her boyfriend, and their other sister into the river to kill them because they had dishonored the family in some sort.
It wasn't exactly this story, but the family had all of their kids killed because one of them had struck a bad chord.

I haven't said god doesn't exist around here because It would probably have me thrown out, but I'm not saying anything I don't have facts for, and we can't prove anything so~

It's on the person to prove that something DOES exist. You can't prove that something doesn't exist. This is why Christianity/Islam/etc has survived this long. The only religions that remain today are the ones that can exist all in your head, and require no physical evidence whatsoever.

1. I've come to the understanding that it's normal for teenagers to question religion.(which we all are, and makes me wonder if I'd ever become so ignorant and believe in poop)
2. My parents would probably punish me in every way they could think of if I mentioned not believing in something that has no evidence/proof. And my grandparents are extremely serious about Christianity.
3. Why, the hell do people care so much about what other peoples sexuality is!? That's what bothers me the most, why the intercourse do people care?!
People don't really get that religion has nothing to do with proving something. That's why it's a belief; a faith. If you need proof of something, then you obviously don't believe in it.

Well as long as you don't generalize every person with a religion to be like those people, then it's okay to think that.
If you believe without a morsel of a doubt that your mom would kill you if she ever found out that you are bisexual, then I'd get out of there as fast as you can.
I'm just glad my dad is Christian. I mean, he reads the bible every night and gets mad anytime I try and bring down any passage of the bible (which I only know a few from TV and such), but I've tested and tried his patience. I know that the worst he really does is swear at me in Lebanese (and basically he says things like "Your mom is a whore" or "your sister is a vagina-y", and I'm like "...Ok, whatever..."), call me a ninny if I ask him to do something or accidentally wake him up, or he might slap me on the back of the head if I try his patience to the very end. The funniest reaction is when he screams and jumps up and down, which makes him look like some sort of elf.
But, yeah, he has a short temper and blows a fuse quickly, but he doesn't even remember it after he does it and everything goes back to normal. I know he'd never actually kill me, and I'm sure I could get him to hit me, but it wouldn't be more then a slap like every other kid gets. So you should seriously think about what she would do. My method of 'piss them off and see what happens' probably won't work in your situation... But, yeah, if you really believe she would kill you, I'd want to get away as fast and as smoothly as you can.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. I can't imagine your mom would put her religion before her own daughter. I don't personally know your mom, but I just can't imagine someone doing that. I'm not saying she wouldn't, I don't know you or your life. Maybe if I could be more empathetic I'd be able to understand, but I'm too close minded, I guess. I think everyone thing will work out alright in the end. You've come this far, you can make it through.
If your mom actually killed you over a religious belief, then she's not really a mother; I agree.
From what I know, if I say anything too bad about religion around here, my aunt will just kick me out the house for being disrespectful. Then again, around here, any opinion of mines is disrespectful to both my aunt and uncle, so meh. I don't like it here much anyway; soon as I can get a job where I can pay for my own poop i'm out of here.
