Title: This Is It
Post by: ThePowerOfOne on September 27, 2009, 04:55:32 PM
I just bought my advance tickets to go see Michael Jackson's This Is It on the 27th ;D

I can't wait, looks like it's going to be awesome.

So, how many of you are going to see it? And have you bought tickets yet?

I did not see it. Did not even know about it, and if I did I still would not have gone.

How was it however?

Oops... I didn't even know it was the 27th this month when I posted that D:

I'm buying my tickets on my mom's next paycheck. Going on October 30th with my girlfriend, her mom, and a few friends. It looks amazing. Could have been his best tour. The fact he actually did Jam again makes it all worth it.

My favorite trailer:

The Billie Jean trailer is my favorite, right behind the full trailer. :3

List of songs in the movie. Vote for your top 5. Well, it's awesome to finally know what songs are in. I'm so excited to see Who Is It, my favorite song ever. First time he performed it to, about time.  :robothappy:
Also excited for TII and the Thriller/Threatened mix. I'm really surprised he'd perform Speechless right after WBSS...

Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
Speechless
Bad
Smooth Criminal
Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough
Jam
They Don't Care About Us
History
Human Nature
The Way You Make Me Feel
I'll Be There
I Want You Back
The Love You Save
Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)
I Just Can't Stop Loving You
Thriller
Threatened
Who Is It
Beat It
Black Or White
Earth Song
Billie Jean
Man in the Mirror
This Is It

Now i'm even more excited to see it ;D

I just wish he would have done "Will You Be There", one of my favorite songs. Or "You Rock My World" would have been awesome.

But I can't wait to see all these songs. Most excited for "Jam" and "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)".

I'm hoping WYBT will be on the DVD. We know it was rehearsed, so I hope it's included on the DVD. I'm surprised YRMW isn't on the list, considering it's the only big hit from Invincible. I hope he at least did it and it will be included on the DVD.

I am shocked he did Shake Your Body. He hasn't done a full Jacksons song since the Bad Tour.

I just saw it yesterday (Too busy Tuesday), it was freaking amazing! I laughed, I cried, and nearly crapped my pants at the awesomeness of it.

It was so perfect, that would have been one incredible show to see live. Any fan, or even if you don't know much about him, should go see this movie. Also, I got a cool little This Is It concert necklace thingy :3

What is a term for something being better than "intercourse ing epic"? Best vocals ever. Top form dancing, with brand new moves. MJ is funny, and it's amazing to watch him control how the music is done. He has amazing insight into the characteristics of music and dancing, and it really shows. Especially when planning "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You".

Go see it, even if you don't like Michael Jackson. You will be amazing at the skill he possesed and how intuitive he was.

Saw it on Saturday. I can safely say it's the greatest documentary film I've ever seen. And all the songs... just, wow. MJ's musical prowess is just amazing in this; especially considering he was 50 during this time. I could see my parents wiping the tears out of their eyes during "Human Nature" and "Man in the Mirror"; his performances are simply breathtaking.

It really is a shame that all the people who worked so hard on the production never got to do the tour. The man was taken from us before his time.

Human Nature brought me some tears. I kept tensing my hands during IJCSLY, it was intense.

The first time I saw it, me and my aunt pretty much cried through the whole thing, and the second time, pretty much from "I'll Be There" and on D:

IJCSLY was awesome, and the ending was pretty funny. I can't remember what song it was... But I loved that little smile he did when it ended and they did the fade out thing.

I think it might have been TDCAU, not completely sure though. I've got to watch it again.
