By "old", I mean a TV series that is no longer around, even if it ended last year.
Mine is Friends. I learned about it when all the talk shows were crying about it ending, and after that I began watching reruns. Then I got the DVDs, and now I watch them over again sometimes when I'm in the mood for TV and none of my shows are on. I like to jump aboard popular things after they die, apparently.
Anyway, your favorites?
Dexter's Laboratory.
Ah, the good 'ol days. I think everyone misses this show.
Johnny Bravo
By "aren't around anymore," do you mean don't play on TV at all anymore? or just don't make new episodes of anymore?
Either way, Invader Zim, Rugrats, Rocket Power, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Looney Toons.
The old Pokemon. ;_;
Dexter's Laboratory
Animaniacs
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Teen Titans
Rocky and Bullwinkle
I could list more, but I'm too tired.
Johnny Bravo, Megas XLR. Some others.
Gargoyles
Beast Wars
Invader Zim
MST3K
ReBoot
x-files, and Gary and Mike.
Invader zim and powerpuff girls get mentions.

Ended series. They can still play old episodes on TV.
Looks like everyone loved the Cartoon Network shows. When I was younger I wasn't big into TV or anything. But I'd watch shows once in a while on that channel. I just didn't follow them closely.
Zoids.

Same here with every TV-related thing, I watched but I didn't understand a thing about what was going on, and the old Disney Movies I've seen seemed a hella lot longer than they do now.
Great nostalgia thread. :)

- This show is better than ANYTHING on tv right now. And I'm dead serious about that too, it really is.
Old Nickelodeon, old Cartoon Network and old Disney.

Isn't it one of the best animated shows of all time?

more like one of the best television shows of all time. It just doesn't get any credit outside the nerd crowd because its "that lowly childish medium, "CAHRTUUUUUNS""
How could I forget Batman the Animated Series and Samurai Jack? I also just remembered IGPX, an excellent but relatively short anime (2 seasons I believe). It's about giant, racing, battling, robots and the lives of their pilots. It's pretty sweet.
Old:
MASH
Andy Griffith Show
More recent: Both Batman and Superman Animated Series
Futurama (I know, they're still kind of doing it with movies, but I liked the single episodes)
Arrested Development
Chalkzone, Scrubs ;_; sad face about Scrubs.

lol, I did. And
Scrubs too if you look back at the comment.
Has nobody said Seinfeld? Well then Seinfeld. I didn't like it as a kid but now I'm older and can appreciate it more.
Also, Teen Titans.
Also, every show that was on G4 in 2004-5 before it turned into purely crap like Cops reruns and old asian movies.
