This place is boring most of the time, no wonder it's dying. We need some form of activity to brighten up the place.

Nope, can't say that I have any ideas at all.
It hasn't died yet, though, which means something. This place can keep itself alive for a long time.
We just need to find an online game we can all play together.
We need a contest.

How about a game like this:
1. It should involve most of the users here.
2. They would divide up into teams of three (or five if we have enough). The teams do not know who is on the other teams, just the team name.
3. There would be a riddle/challenge every week, along with a rank for the victorious team.
4. Every week, the winning team's captain can put two (or four if we have enough) users of the other groups up for elimination.
5. The two (or four) users would have their own trivia round, with the winner of each round being "safe". This continues until there is one (or two) people left, who are eliminated.
6. After the users are less than half, they will compete in one final challenge, with the winners getting a special rank.
Oh, and some of the users have "special" roles that allow them to eliminate other members and the like.
Basically like Big Brother, Werewolf, and IRC Trivia all in one.

Although this thread is locked, I must say that I liked J's idea for a competition that way, more or less. I will take it into consideration.
