Title: WiiWare Demos for a Limited Time
Post by: Qsmash on November 23, 2009, 08:12:37 PM
Ninty recently started having free demos of WiiWare games such as BIT.TRIP BEAT, FF CC: My Life as a Darklord, NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, World of Goo and Pokemon Rumble for a limited time. I myself downloaded the Pokemon Rumble, World of Goo, and the Crystal Chronicles demo. I like that Nintendo finally picked up on the idea to have free demos and that maybe they would start having demos of boxed games, but it's just for the holidays.

tl;dr BIT.TRIP BEAT, FF CC: My Life as a Darklord, NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, World of Goo and Pokemon Rumble have demos now but not forever.

Saw the Pokemon Rumble demo and played through-Wait, it's only for a limited time?

...suddenly, I'm a lot more disappointed.

By limited time, do you mean it's limited time available to download the demos? or it's limited time for the demos to exist?

I guess you could consider it both.

I love the demos.

Pokemon Rumble is basically what I thought PMD was gonna be.

World of Goo is meh. Cool if you like physics.

FFCC: My Life As A Darklord is okay.

Bit Trip Beat is pretty cool and has a nice beat.

I haven't d-loaded Nyx.

Considering I already own all of those....

:U

Goo is greatness. As is Bit Trip.

Nyx is second tier. Followed by tower defense I mean Darklord. And Rumble is bland boring and basic but fun nonetheless.

As exciting as this sounds, I'm still a tad bit disappointed that it's not a permanent feature.
And I'm talking about the ability to download not the games.
There are so many beneficial features that Nintendo can provide us with but it seems they never get these things through their heads.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still thankful that we at least have this. But with so much more than can be done, it's just a minor disappointment on me.

It's actually no surprise to me that PS3 is beating them in sales now.
I knew they were going to drop a rank. Just not this fast.
