I might as well just rank all the movies that I watched and that also came out in 2009. Unfortunately, I barely watched any. Anyway, here's my ranking:

I didn't get to see a lot of good movies this year. :\
My friends have terrible taste in movies because I watched most of the ones on this list with them.
District 9 and Watchmen... that is all...

I agree with your first two only. Watchmen was sup-par, BlindSide was omg Christiam (a turn off to me), and the Proposal just wasn't that funny in my opinion.
The first two were both exceptional additons to their genres.
