Title: Chrome Help
Post by: Macawmoses on December 29, 2009, 02:15:54 AM
Using Firefox on my netbook seemed to be a faux pas with my policy of light and breezy. Chrome seemed to be a reasonable fit based on what I hear.

So, get it. Then I see blocky ass blurry text that made my eyes sore in 2 minutes. Is there any way to fix this or should I just toss Chrome? Serious answers kids.

Maybe something here (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=59128b777880e82c&hl=en) will help you.

GO BACK TO FIREFOX 3 :|

Seriously, though, toss Chrome. Aside from terrible text, its speed is not anything to write home about. It'll make you more frustrated waiting for pages to load in Chrome than it will in FF.

My first suggestion was serious, now that I think about it. I switched back a while ago, and I'm loving it.

Nostalgia FTW :)

1. Fuck Chrome.

2. FF3.

3. If anything, use Opera, just cause it's not Chrome.

FF is a ram hog and I don't want it on my netbook. Opera is sorta bloaty and I don't like it.

So let's try fixing the issue first shall we. Lord knows it is better than IE8.

I would help if I could, but I have no issues with text.  Maybe if you zoom out?

1. Chrome's speed is quite incredible
2. Not a clue what the problem is

...what.
Text in Chrome is fine. Post a screenshot.
Maybe zoom in more with CTRL+mouse scroll.

Only when you open a intercourse ton of tabs or use the Mac beta.
