Title: Teaching Myself Guitar

Like 4 years ago I took lessons for half a year. But the person who I had to take them with was a bad teacher adn my mom will make me go to him again. So how should I teach myself

Buy an instructional book or two, or if you're too cheap for that, just look around online. There's a wealth of information on the subject.

start to strum the strings randomly until you develop a technique of hitting the right ones fast.  Then do something with the neck.

Yeah you can get some with dvds too.

I pretty much taught myself.
Takes a lot of self discipline and dedication though.
You should by a basic chord book and a beginners guitar book.
