Basically, eRepublik is a browser game that is both a strategy and an MMO game. You can fight, work, and train with the army. Not enough? How about creating a newspaper, starting a company, or even running for President?
It's pretty simple to get. When you sign up, you will be asked for your citizen name, email address, password, birthday (which I TOTALLY lied about), and your country. Now, if you're a US citizen, I wouldn't go to the state that you live in. Why? Well, unless it's Florida or California, it probably doesn't have a hospital, which is explained later. So just go to one of those two states.
So after you join, you will be asked to join a company. Take note of the skill type, as you will learn that skill. Once you work, you need to buy food. The US automatically gives you 5 USD, which will get you some. After working and buying, you have to upload an avatar. (JPEG) Once you have done that, you will become level 2! Now you can train with the army.
It may seem boring for the first week, just two clicking, but after you get to level 5 (it should take a week), you will be able to fight for your country.

I want to see more of it, as I was interested but confused. Same with others, iirc.
Well, if I could ever catch Totla online, we could try and get things going again.
